We just got in late last night from our second 4 night Wonder cruise. This time we added 4 nights at Universal afterwards.
The weather was fabulous the whole time. Low eighties every day of the cruise with a light breeze. A little rough coming back home the last night but otherwise smooth sailing. We enjoyed this second time even more than the first and rebooked on board for a 7 night western. I would be happy to try and answer any questions anyone has and will post a trip report after I can make my way out from the mountains of laundry!

Hi, welcome back!!! I have a few questions:

1. Is pineapple available? (DH has a pineapple addiction!)

2. Were you able to get a ressie for the Palo brunch?

3. What time did you get to port and how were the lines?

4. What is your favorite memory?

Thanks for your help! We are looking forward to our turn on the Wonder in May.

1. Yes pinapple was available at scoops and at the buffet. It was comparable to what we get in Hawaii and it was the sweetest on Castaway Cay!
2. We chose not to go to the Palo brunch but a lady I talked to at the pool said they got in by just walking up, no reservation.
3. We got to the port about 11:00 and there were no lines. We were about the 4th family in line to board.
4. My favorite memory has to be my little girl and I winning at Mickey Mania. We got gold medals and coins. It was a hoot!

Thanks for the quick answers, Renzdr!!! My DH will be so happy about the pineapple (me too, YUM!). That is great about the brunch- we may go but we do not want to have to rush around like maniacs trying to get a ressie.

I hope you got all your laundry done! :p

We will be taking our very first cruise (4 day), next April. Any tips would be great. What did you do on your Nassau day? Do you recommend any particular rm. (we'll be booking 2 cat 11 with DVC)? What did you do on your day at sea? Will my 16, 13 and 12 yr. old sons like it? thanks!

We had done the Atlantis day room on our last trip so this time we just made a quick trip to the straw market and Del Sol. Then we spent the rest of the day at the pool. Our kids would have prefered to stay on board the whole day.
We had connecting cat. 9 rooms aft. We enjoyed the convenience of being near the elevators and the closeness of the drink station and buffet. However we heard a lot more ship noise and felt much more shuttering than we did with our cat. 5 last time. My kids are not quite as old as yours but if they were I would feel totally comfortable having 2 cat 11's. My almost 12 year old son hates the characters and anything else "uncool" like that and he loves the cruises. The movies, arcade, pools, room service, basketball court ect. keep him more than happy. I'm sure they will love it!!

ok, thanks! What deck were you on? Do you recommend us getting deck 7 aft or deck 5 where the 12 yr. old will be? So do you think as a first timer we should even bother getting off the ship at Nassau?

I would do 7 aft if it were my choice. My 12 year old did not care for the club. He is very well behaved and it was full of lots of rowdy kids with foul mouths so he went once and never went back.
I wanted my kids to see the straw market in Nassau but in hindsight it was hundreds of booths with exactly the same thing at each one. We bought a few things and then left after about a half an hour. It is fun to get off for a bit to just see what the town is like.
