What a wonderful(well, Magical I guess is better to say) time. We LOVED our rooms on deck 5 and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It was so convenient to walk up or down to what ever we wanted, although the elevators were never crowded or having long waits. I met Garyss7 and Sandra, but absentmindly forgot to go to Scoops after the safety drill. Hope you all had a good meeting. We rebooked while on board for what we hope is the kids spring break week, but we don't have the schedule yet, so who knows.

My son in the 10-12 group wasn't crazy about the lab activities, but still did a fair number of events. He'll be 13 when we return and will probably like Common Grounds alot. The younger 2 loved the lab and had a good time. They went to specific activities, but never just went to stay.

We found there is just no way to do it all, and you'd have a miserable time trying. We never set foot in the Beat Street area at night, I never got into the Quiet Cove pool and unfortunately I never got to see Serenity Bay. But we had so much fun doing things together. We also did the Palo brunch....wonderful. A must do event.

Best tips were clothes pins, ordering a pot of coffee at night for a cup early before everyone else woke up. (it really DOES stay hot!) Didn't take an extension cord and can't imagine why I would have needed one. I took the over the door shoe hanger but never got it out of the suitcase. There are shelves in the bathrooms, both in the corner and under the sinks. That won't go next time.

At the disembarkation talk they said customs requirements had changed that very week. I couldn't see what the new items were, but I have the sheet if anyone is interested.

Sorry that we missed you but we were on your cruise. Great food , weather , service and room. Overall another OUTSTANDING week at sea compliments of the DCL. We tried to book Thanksgiving 2004 but were told that they would not be taking reservations until Jan so we got on the wait list.

We missed meeting so many people. We went to Scoops after the drill but it was only us and Sandy. Sandy was able to tell me who gary was (he was part of a show) and psimon because of Mouseketeer. I met psimon at a pin trade and sat in front of Howard on the tram to the ship. We also met aisia babe and her group at Palo just by chance. I hope you all had as wonderful a time as we all had. I was desperate to go upstairs to breakfast this morning and I am terribly jealous of everyone on the ship right now.

Our kids lived in the clubs. We had to pull them out at night to go to bed. Unfortunately, my daughter got sick on Thursday but it was nice to see her again.

We also loved our room and rebooked in that room for next year. We were 8576 which is 3 doors from the steps or elevator to Topsiders and the beverage station. I ran up every morning and grabbed something for the kids along with coffee and juice.

We had the free AAA drink mugs and never used them. The beverage station was enough for me and the kids never had time to drink the sodas. I usually drink a 12 pack of diet pepsi a day and wasn't interested in soda at all. I mixed ice tea with a little lemonade, sweet and low and lemon wedges and loved it.

I learned SO MANY things here that made the trip magical for us. Thank you everyone for sharing all you learned with us. It wouldn't have been the same trip without everyones help.

Welcome back fellow cruisers. It was a great week even if the boat tried to
go to castaway key by itself.. Just a quick word on common grounds, my 14
year old daughter didn't feel very comfortable there with the older teenagers
so she hung around with her cousin all week. I think there were alot of older
teenage boys and she wasn't comfortable around them so be aware of the
crowd when your there. And we sent her to camp last summer for 2 weeks
and she did great so I know it wasn't because she was shy. Thanks, Gary
