Just back from the world yesterday
Loved the convenience of the Magic Bands. We had one little issue the first day because we upgraded our tickets to hoppers and somehow my magic band got loaded with two tickets and DH's didn't get a ticket. Took 5 minutes to sort it out at AK and off we went (and received an extra FP for our troubles). Super convenient, no problems opening our door, getting into parks, FP+, etc.
We went into FP+ with an open mind and were pleasantly surprised. We are a family that definitely "worked the legacy FP system" and generally used 5-8 FP per day and liked to ride the coasters multiple times per day, so I was a little apprehensive about how FP+ would work.
We spent the morning at one park and hopped to a different one in the afternoon. It worked very well to schedule all of the FP+ reservations for the second park. With the legacy FP we always had issues getting headliner FP for the second park, so it was great to hop and be able to ride headliners. We also had no issues adjusting our FP+ reservations to different parks or different times (of course, they parks weren't terribly busy).
The only complaint we had was that we wish our 3 FP+ could be distributed between multiple parks. I understand the need for tiering at HS and EPCOT due to the lack of attractions, so that didn't bother me too much, but I can't believe FP+ can't be scheduled to multiple parks in a day.
One last thing to note--if you are staying off site, DO NOT wait in the first FP+ line you see! Every morning the first FP+ line was crazy busy and the other lines literally had no one in them.
