Just back. EMH eve AK report. Any ???

I got to AK about 4:30, regular closing at 5:00, EMH until 8:00. People were streaming out, as one woman said "It's just too hot to stay", hardly anyone going in just for the 3 hours. Pizzafari and Flame Tree were open until 7:00, Tusker house was already closed. After 5:00, there was a CM at the entrance to Camp Minnie-Mickey, turning away guests without wristbands. The last FOLK show was at 5:30. They're doing wristband distribution a little differetly now. The CMs swipe your room key through a hand-held machine thing, presumably to verify that the room key is valid and that it's only used once. However, they didn't ask for ID, to check that I was the person named on the card (a relief for those of us who accidently grab the room key which has the name of someone else in the room). There was a sign near the safari ride saying that the last safari was at 5:00, but it was open-the last safari that night was at 7:00. There was a Tarzan Rocks show at 6:00. Hardly anyone was at EMH-I really noticed it when I went into a restroom near Kali, and no one else was there or entered while I was there. As for the rest of my 3 1/2 days-I spent very little time in the parks-ate at R&C, B&C, CRT (dinner), Chefs de France, saw the Voices of Liberty, watched the World Showcase players in England (I think they're soo funny!), and found out that my favorite Streetmosphere character in MGM is out with knee surgery. Any questions?

Thanks for the information. I have been debating doing the evening magic hours this coming Tuesday Were there any lines at all for Kali River Rapids or Dinosaur????? Did you go to any other evening magic hours??

There was virtually no wait for Kali, about 6:45. I'm afraid I'm too much of a coward so I didn't even go to Dinosaur. I've been to MGM and MK eve EMH on previous trips, and they were very crowded. My experience at AK was much different.

We had the same experience with EMH at AK two weeks ago. Our boys rode Primeval Whirl 6 times in a row without having to exit their car. And even though the last Safari was supposed to run at 5pm, it kept going until 7pm.

It's an excellent perk...MUCH (MUCH!!!) better than MK's EMH.
