Just back! Don't CROWD me...

I was there May 13th-May 22nd and recently posted how low I felt the crowds were. I did three early morning tours and had an early PS, so was able to use the early morning character buses, avoiding the regular buses and then when I had to use the buses at night I tried to leave the parks early. Consequently I never was on a crowded bus. I spent two nights at POP, then five nights at BWV, then two more nights at POP and was able to schedule my park days according to which resort I was at for the most part. Using fast pass I never waited more than about ten minutes for any ride.

Both times I was in the same room at POP (#1312), 50's, building 1 (Lady), third floor on the corner, next to stairwell and as close as possible to the main building as I could be (unless I was in the same room on the first or second floor). Room location was perfect (close to main building, with views of both bowling pin and hippy dippy pools, but very quiet). I got at least three towel animals every day I was there and the room was very clean. In fact I was VERY pleasantly surprised at POP as I've never stayed at a value resort before. I was really suprised that I didn't mind transferrring back to POP after my BWV stay. The buses were MUCH more frequent at POP.

I was at Disney back in March and will be going back June 29 - July 3rd for a short meeting but all other times park hopping. I will be staying at POR. Who could say no to an all paid trip to Disney (actual conversation: could you go to a two hour meeting and meet with these people. Where is it? In Orlando. Can I stay a few days after the meeting? Sure. Will the company pay for the entire stay. Yes. Disney here I come).

My boss will be there till July 3rd as well (I convinced him not to leave on the 1st or 2nd). I told him I would show him some of the Disney parks. He has never been there. Now I'm worried with all of the crowds. With the heat and the crowds don't think we could get to see much. Will try to utilize the fastpasses. To prepare him for all the Disney stuff he will be seeing -- even at his hotel at the Marriott -- I had told him "see my desk. you are going to be seeing a lot more of this stuff come June." :rotfl2:

I usually go in either May (have seen it starting to get crowded) and in October (going back Oct 18 - 30). I have not been to Disney in July since Prince Charles and Princess Diana got married. I remember watching the wedding from my grandparents place before heading to the parks.
