The cabins were fine. It was very quiet- (which I like being a wannabe hermit). We had plenty of room for the 5 of us.
This may seem odd, but because we had a kitchen, it didn't seem like we were on vacation. With 3 kids, there were always dirty dishes in the sink, and it just bothered me. When I go on vacation I don't want to see dishwashing liquid or the inside of a dishwasher. On the other hand, pride wouldn't allow me to leave for mousekeeping either.
DD is a very light sleeper, so having a cabin was the best way to insure that she got a good nap everyday. That made it all worthwhile, AND I had a nice table to work on my scrapbook- with the KODAK easy share camera and printer we would print our pictures every afternoon at nap time and I would work on my album. It was fun doing right then and there, now I just need to finish.
Can't say that I would never stay in cabins again, but it might be awhile.
