Hello,
We had a wonderful time this past weekend. My Daughter celebrated her 21st B-Day. There were 5 of us, The Daughter, Her Friend, 18 Yr old son and my Wife.

We stayed at the Camelot inn. It was a single room with 2 queen beds and a cot. My son hated the cot so he would put the mattress on the floor. Otherwise it's a fine place to stay. It's close enough that you can go back and forth and McDonalds is next door.

The days were warm but the nights got cold. We are from Salt Lake City UT and it was even cold for us. The highlights were getting stopped on Hyperspace Mtn and getting to ride it half way down with the lights on. World of Color was awesome as well.

The crowds were horrible. We stayed away from Disneyland on Saturday and Sunday due to Candle light. I did go in sunday to pick something up and the routed us through the back way behind the shops.

We bought 5 day hoppers from LMT Club for $281.00 and traded them in for Deluxe AP's for only $265.00 more!

It was a fun trip but I think we will stick with Halloween time.

We arrive on Sunday and I keep trying to decide how to pack. When you said it was warm during the day, was it warm enough for shorts or more like jeans and tee shirt? We are from Colorado so to hear you say it was even cold for you guys being from Utah, tells me we are packing some warmer stuff for sure. We are planning on early mornings and later nights at parks with break in day.
Thanks

We were there Dec 1 - 4th. Dec 2nd was extremely windy afternoon / evening.
The mornings ...... shirt, sweater / light jacket. Evenings..... shirt, sweater, jacket, gloves. Lightweight gloves were just enough to keep the chill off. For PTNP and WOC DP ..... I should've brought blankets for my GDD's 7 & 9. Evenings were chilly especially if sitting for parades, shows.
Layers...... is my recommendation.

We love hot chocolate in the evenings !

Glad you had a wonderful time. We always find it fun if we get stopped on a ride and not an inconvenience, but then its always only been brief.
If I was stopped for a long time I'm sure I'd probably have a different opinion. Yes, I agree .....extremely busy Sat / Sun. We were Park Hopping and at 2pm we got delayed with re-entering DL for about 15. Lines going in were stopped "due to capacity" is what we were told. Luckily not too long of a wait for us to re-enter.

Here now. being from a tropical country, I had my jumper on all day and then add a jacket in the evening.

However I see some people in shorts during RD and it was cold.

We were in DL on Sunday, morning was very doable but by afternoon it became crazy. in between candlelight processional, there was a river of people moving along Main Street.

We mainly wore capris or jeans with t-shirts and put sweatshirts on at night. Still cold with that ESP on rides outside. Tho my 15 yr old did splash twice last night at 11pm in shorts and a t-shirt (he forgot to bring a sweatshirt with him).

I do cargo shorts, but for sure layer the torso with thin gloves, oregon is home but then I try to wear shorts before arriving in California for December and southwest Jan-mar.

Sorry to hear that your highlight was infrastruture, but alas, when the doom buggies stopped for awhile, i had facefull of gingerbread when they started.

I've been here 5 days and I'm
Here a few more. I agree the crowds are a lot! We use to be able to do the first week in December with decent crowds but I agree with you, I am sticking to Halloween time for sure! We have been able to get a lot done in the mornings though and just have been going back around "peak" times. Staying my last night in the DLH so I think I will just stick to everything in the hotel.

We arrive on Wednesday and the forecast looks like it is turning cooler into the high 50's as the high during the day and mid 40's at night.

Coming from Canada where it is 25 now and will be 12 the day we leave I think if we layer up we will be ok.....I am hoping to wear shorts during the day it possible and then jeans at night.

Can't wait to get there!

I'm buying a pass for my daughter for Christmas and was thinking of going this route! So they definitely give the 5 day PH full value when upgrading to an AP? Thank you!

Don't count on that happening - officially, Disney doesn't price bridge. More people of late (including me and my family) are saying that they've gotten full gate value for discounted tickets, but that could end at any time.
