We stayed our first 5 nights at BWV in a standard studio (room 3085). I had only requested non smoking, this would be our 2nd stay at BWV. We actually did not mind if we weren't close to the elevators. Check in was quick and the CMs very friendly and talkative. Our room was fairly close to the elevators, just before the "Y" in the hall. The windows just outside our door looked at the Keister Coaster and it was next door to the vending/ice room. It was a dedicated studio or what I've heard called a studio plus. The room was wonderful. I was worried that we might get a lot of noise from the vending/ice room, but we never heard a sound in any direction. Some have called the extra "chair" a daybed, I would refer to it more as almost a loveseat chair with a pad. The pad was not very thick and I wouldn't think it would be too comfortable to sleep on. The stairs to the pool were also right outside our door, so we had quick access. Our first night it was quite chilly so my DD and I sat on the balcony wrapped in a blanket to watch the upper fireworks of Illuminations. We enjoyed everything about the BW!!

Our next 4 nights were spent offsite for a convention.

The last 2 nights we stayed at BCV. We had stayed at the BC in '97 and had pool hopped to SAB on our last couple of trips, so I was anxious to see how we liked the villas. We were in room 414 that was just to the left of the elevators. We had an awesome view of the quiet pool. Since we prefer to stay standard at BWV, it was nice to have such a good view. We had been in FL for over a week, so our first order of business was to do some laundry. My DD and I each took a bag and started out in search of the laundry room and found it to be directly across from our room!! That was a nice surprise and so convenient. Again the room was great with no noise. The vending/ice was just down the hall.

All in all BCV was great, but there's just something about the atmosphere of BWV that we love best. We've already decided for our next trip we're going to spend the first 2 nights in a studio at BCV and the remaining nights in a 1 bedroom at BWV.

Just a side note, our DD is an only child and very good at finding friends at the pools to play with. On our 2nd day at BWV, we ran into the little girl from Pennsylvania that she had met and played with 2 years ago on our stay! They immediately hit off again and swam together the next day, then she saw her at Typhoon Lagoon too! We had a fabulous trip and can't wait to get back! Let me know if you have any question!

Thanks for the report.

stayed in room 3085 at BWV for my very first trip home - it was a great room with an excellent location and convinced me that there was no need to pay extra for "preferred" view rooms. I agree that the daybed is not suitable for sleeping. It does make a great place to store souvenirs though, LOL!

Glad you had a good time!

Thanks for your report....sounds like a great trip! And interesting that your DD should find her vacation playmate from a couple of years ago!

Glad to hear that your DVC experience was a good one. And when you stay in that 1BR next time, you'll find the washer/dryer even more convenient. :p

Thanks for taking the time to post your impressions.
