Just back from BCV! Our first stay in a 1BR! Had requested upper level Epcot view. I was originally assigned a pool view, but the CM looked and found room #373 for us, which I knew was on the Epcot side so I took it. We got up there and straight off the balcony was Spaceship Earth. Cool! At night we could see all the fireworks from Illuminations, the tip of the torch from the earth and hear the music.

The 1 BR was great. I see what people say about the bathroom doors being a little odd, but we figured it out and had no problem.

While our view was great, we were also right by the road/bridge over the canal. The rest of my family had no problem with it, but that first night I had a heck of time getting to sleep with the cars going over the bridge. I know it was totally me and truthfully, the rest of the nights, I had little trouble getting to sleep - so tired. But I think I may ask for a pool view next time to see what the noise difference is for me.

Loved the full kitchen! Loved the jacuzzi tub! My only comment is that I think the jacuzzi jets and the washer/dryer is loud. Now, this is totally personal. I don't have a jacuzzi tub at home, so the noise from the jets could very well be normal! Just took me by surprise. And I have all "quiet" series appliances at my home, so I never hear the washer and dryer. Also, my washer/dryer are in a separate room in my house and my house is definitely bigger than the 1 BR. So the space in which the noise can move is limited as well.

Not a complaint, just an observation on my first stay in a 1 BR.

I also am thinking we will be trying to stay in 2 BR in the future. My kids love the "secret" bed in the couch, but it was kind of a pain to drag in and out every night. Plus, then if someone gets hungry and there's still someone sleeping, in a 2 BR, waiting isn't an issue.

So hope this makes sense, I can tell I am tired. Talk at you all later!

One stay in a 1-bedroom and we've already got you moving up to the 2-bedroom. LOL! ;) Glad to hear you had a good time!

Thanks for your report zulaya!

We were in 373/375 in October.

I agree with the bridge noise. My cousin staying in the studio didn't hear it at all, but we really struggled with it around 7:00 AM. It was obvious it was a shift change, as the traffic picked up significantly, then died off. We had been at MNSSHP until midnight the night before... probably got to sleep around 2:00. EVERY time somebody hit one of those expansion joints, we heard it! Then, once the traffic died down, someone came out with an edger. Yay! Then, once the edger was done, they came out with a blower.

We just laughed about it - but it really did make it hard to "sleep in."

I'm curious, though. We noticed that someone (a child, I assume?!?) broke off the little "push-pins" on both doors in the master bathroom - so that you couldn't lock the doors. We reported it to maintenance as we left... Did you happen to notice if they were fixed? Just curious...

Glad you had a good trip!

Thanks for the report........

Thanks for the report. Glad you enjoyed it so much. I'll admit, after one night in a two-bedroom at OKW my last trip, I'm considering getting a 2BR from now on! Boy do we get spoiled!

zulaya.... Thanks for the report. Glad to hear you had a good time despite the road noise. Now you know why I have so many points. Even though my kids are still young, I really like having them in thier own seperate bedroom with the Living Room / Kitchen free to use as a Living Room / Kitchen. The kids love having their own room to spread out and do as they wish in.

Great report! The first time IS wonderful! I hope it doesn't wear off...

Next time you're there, check out the road a little more closely. It goes under the canal!
