We returned Monday night from our first trip home. Even our DS16, who thinks Disney is not cool, enjoyed it. He won't admit it, but said at least five times, "You need to buy more points" LOL!

We had a little trouble with our luggage. We stayed at the Poly the first night. We had bell services pick up our luggage to Tranfer to the BCV the next morning. We were told it would be there by 2:00 pm. Checked in at 3:00 pm. The room was ready, great location etc. All our request were met. Asked about our luggage, it wasn't there. They call over to the Poly, it was still sitting there. Promised to have it sent right over.

We went out to Epcot until 5:00 pm, had the luggage delivered. Then headed out quickly for Halloween. The next morning, I realized a bag of groceries and a case of bottled water were missing. They had never been delivered. We call down to BCV bell services to have them check. To make an already long story short, the Poly had lost our items. No big deal, we could get by without them. The manger at the BCV insisted on replacing the items! He asked me for a list of what was missing. When we returned from the parks the groceries were there. They had sent someone to Goodings!

It's things like this that make us glad we decided to make WDW our "second home"!:D

Mattsmom... Glad to here you had a wonderful trip at BCVs. I just love that place.

I also had the need to speak with a Manger while I was there and I am in the process of writing a letter to the General Manager - Sam Pensula to let him know that this Manager went above and beyond.

Mattsmom - Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip and that DS did too. We purchased in June and our DS is 16 also. He won't let me discuss Disney or DVC and switches the channel whenever a Disney commercial is on television. We will be making our first trip home to BCV in June and I know he will love it as much as your son. What did DS think of SAB?

It is good to know that management replaced your groceries.

So glad to here you had a wonderful trip. We are new members at BCV and can't wait to go for our first time. That"s not until June. So glad they replaced your groceries. It's just those little things that make us keep wanting to go back again and again.

It's great to hear that the Disney magic is alive and well at the BCV. We leave Monday on our first trip home just my DH and me.

Glad you had a great trip!

I love hearing about the excellent service at the dvc resorts! It is such a wonderful feeling to own a *piece of the magic* :)

I'm so glad you had such a wonderful trip! :)

BCVowner2002 - Our sons must be Twins!!!!! LOL!!!

We had stayed at BC in June 2001, so my DS16 knew all about SAB beforehand. He enjoys it!

He spent more time at the quiet pool and spa this trip. As the weather was perfect, we spent most of the day in parks. We hit the pool around 9:00 pm. On our June trip my boys spent a couple of hours each afternoon at SAB.

Beside SAB, the things he enjoys most about BCV is Beaches & Cream, the boardwalk is close and the resort is "bright". He doesn't like "dark" resorts, doesn't want to stay at AKL.

Other favorite things to do at WDW are Disneyquest and renting mouseboats.

Mattsmom - my DS didn't really care for DisneyQuest this trip. He enjoyed Aerosmith Rockin Roller Coaster. We will be bringing a friend with us too so DS & friend will be on their own a lot. That's one of the things I like best about WDW is that I feel secure letting DS do his own thing. Can't wait to go back in June!! Annmarie

... I can finally put a face to a name of someone on this board. We met Saturday nite at the spa. Glad you had a great trip.

Our first trip home is this comming April... I can't wait!!!!

Short on points for this peak week so we are doing a Studio.. Anyone stay in a studio?

Mattsmom - I love your screen name - I'm a mom to a Matt too, plus my son is turning 16 soon! Too funny. Anyway, it sounds like you had a great trip.

After a trip last year to Hilton Head I mentioned to hubby that DS has to take a friend and/or relative with us on vacation. It makes my life less stressful so I am happy that my DB (age 13) will be accompanying us on this trip. I am sure when DS sees the pool at OKW he will be pleased. Last time we stayed at BC he spent all his time at the quiet pool after one trip down the waterslide at SAB!

You know that is why I enjoyed BCV they are great. Two weeks after I got home from spending a night at BCV I received a package from there. When I opened it it was clothing. Apparently they sent me these clothes thinking they belonged to me but they didn't. I thought it was pretty nice though to send me the clothes thinking they were mine. Now I am wondering how they thought they were mine when the night I spent at BCV was opening night....
