Hey guys...just spent a week at WDW from 9/10 through 9/17. Best trip so far!! The weather was great, not a cloud in the sky and not a drop of rain. It was pretty hot, but not too bad. Ate at some awesome restaurants (thank you free dining). Stayed at Corando Springs, I probably would not stay there again. Too much business going on while trying to enjoy vacation. Only bad thing, the airport broke 2 things I bought in Germany and at the Christmas Store. Already got in contact with Disney and waiting for a response. If anyone has any questions, just ask...

How were the crowds? What was your favorite place that you ate? Most importantly, did you have a good time?

Did you do any EMH nights? How were the crowds if you did?

Welcome back :)

Was it very crowded? What are some of the new rides that they have, i have not been there since April 04.

The crowds were great. The worst wait for us was 20 minutes for Soarin' on Saturday night at around 6:00. Other than that, they were great. The best place that we ate was Le Cellier. The food was unbelieveable. And...yes, we had a GREAT time. Can't wait to go back!!

The crowds were very managable. Some people were even polite. The new ride we went on was Soarin' in Epcot. Beautiful landscapes, great ride. We also saw the new stunt show in MGM (it is there for the 50th celebration).

Welcome back :)

We only did 1 EMH night (at Epcot) after our Illuminations Cruise. We really only stayed about 1 extra hour, we were exhausted by that point. The crowds that night were not bad at all. September is definiately the time to go.

Thanks so much. We leave Sunday and are planning to do Le Cellier too. I love that restaurant. Good to hear about the crowds as well. I can't wait to try Soarin. :hyper:

FYI - Le Cellier is now the #1 restuarant in Epcot. Make sure you have ADRs before you go. You will not get in there as a walk in unless you want to eat dinner at 4:30. They were turning people away at every restaurant we ate at (except Spoodles) who did not have ADRs. We set up all of our ADRs 90 days prior. But, if you call now, you should be fine.

I'm so anal I did mine at the 90 day mark too. When I saw LC listed as one credit on the dining plan I had a feeling ADR's there would be hard to get. I was wondering how the walkups were doing at restaurants. I mean if you don't DIS and you got that plan, you might not understand how important it is to plan out your meals. Good advice about calling ahead.

you went to EPCOT EMH. Do you have any idea how late Soarin and Test Track were open? I'm confused, are they open until 12 (3 hours + usually close at 9)?

Trying to plan and wondering if that will work! Welcome back! :goodvibes

I believe they were both open until 12:00. We didn't stay that late, but I know they were still running when we left.

We were there during last week as well and had a different experience at the MK EMH on Wed. night. It was packed! The fireworks ended at 9:15 or so and we figured we would wander around awhile until the crowds thinned out a bit, but they never did. We finally left at around 10:30 and there was at least a 30min. wait for everything in Tomorrowland and that was after we walked right on everything during the day.

The EMH was the only time we saw any crowds all week. Soarin' was the only ride to have any wait and we just Fastpassed it.
