We were in WDW from 5/13-5/18. We went into the 4 parks, had a great time. Crowds were minimal compared to what I expected. Most waits were 20 minutes or less. We stayed at the Beach Club Villas. Had a wonderful time in WDW, and can't wait to go back! Any questions?

Glad to hear you had a good time! Also glad to hear the crowds were minimal... we're planning on visiting WDW around this time next year! How's the weather? Are the parks open late? We just went in March and the parks closed around 8ish. DId you do any EMH? Were they crowded?

Sorry I'm just replying now...we had computer problems yesterday. The weather was pretty good...it got a little bit too hot and humid in the afternoon the last few days. Otherwise, wonderful sun, no rain at all. Daytime highs ranged from 84-88. I on;y needed a light sweater one night when we were at Downtown Disney pretty late and it was breezy.

AK was open until 5pm; Epcot the usual 9pm, MGM 9pm, and MK was between 9-11pm depending on the night. We did EMH evening at MGM on 5/15. Hardly any crowds. We rarely waited much, during EMH or not.

Any other questions??

Tell me your favorite park! And did you love the BC, will you stay there next time? :wave2:

Did you do Fantasmic at MGM? If the park is open til 9pm, does that mean the show starts at 9? We're going in Sep for 4 nights, this is the one evening show (park finale) I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if its worth it to schedule. We saw it once 5 years ago and I remember being not quite as impressed as I'd hoped, but I read a review on allearsnet that said the show seemed to get better with each viewing.

We really like all of the parks, but MK and Epcot are our favorites, followed by MGM and then AK.

We loved the Beach Club (Villas). We will definitely stay there again, but not necessarily the next time. We like variety and we'd also like to try a few new places (Poly, AKL, SSR). We also love WL, and we enjoyed BWV when we stayed in December, but that was only 2 nights, so it was hard to get a feel for the resort, and it was too chilly to swim. Either way, staying at an Epcot resort is fabulous because you can walk to Epcot and MGM--we loved that.

Fantasmic started at 9pm, which was the official park closing time (EMH kept it open for resort guests 9p-12a). We realy like it, but I can see why you might be disappointed after reading all the hype on the boards. It's actually one of the more elaborate nighttime shows--if you can arrange to see it, I think you'll enjoy it.

Hello thanks for answering questions!!

Regarding Epcot, did you ride both Test Track and Soarin? What was your strategy - which did you do first and did you have to FP either or both? Thanks!

24 hours to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Just got back too.

Most rides had posted waits of less than 30 minutes.

Soarin', Peter Pan occasionally had waits close to an hour, I saw Splash Mountain, Space Mountain have waits around 45 minutes in the afternoon even on a weekday like Tuesday.

Tuesday PM looked mobbed in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland and Tomorrowland at times, although much (over half?) of the parking lots were never used.

Evening (6:30) shows of Lights Motors (MGM) were well attended but not full. I was able to get in five minutes before show time.

Got to Typhoon Lagoon late (4-ish), slides including Crush Gusher had waits less than five minutes.

Where exactly did you stay at the BCV? I love that resort! Did you eat at the new Marketplace store at the BC? If so, what did you think of it?

We rode Soarin' and my DH rode Test Track (I'm pregnant). Both of the days we went to Epcot we walked straight to the Land and rode Soarin' at 9am. The first day we got a Fastpass, did the rest of the attractions in the Land, and rode Soarin' a second time before 10am. The second day we just went on Soarin' twice in a row with less than a 5 minute wait. My DH used the Single Rider line for TT in the late morning, but the stand-by line was only 30 minutes anyway. Fastpass times weren't too late, either, since it wasn't crowded, so that would be a good option for a group.

We went into the MK on Saturday 5/14 around 4pm and we were shocked that it wasn't more crowded. No problems with Buzz, etc. My DH used FP for SM. The only long wait we saw was Pooh for 40 minutes, but FPasses were available. Otherwise, the waits really weren't bad.

We stayed in a studio at the BCV, room 406. Canal parking lot view...not so great, but we weren't in the room much. We loved the pool which we used for a couple hours twice during our 5 day stay. Otherwise we spent the whole day in the parks.

We saw the Beachclub Marketplace...looked really nice. Food offerings weren't as extensive as Roaring Forks at WL or Gasparilla Grill at GF, but was a nice addition. We were out and about for lunches and dinners, but we had a quick breakfast or two at Beachclub Marketplace. Egg/ham/croissant sandwich was good, as was yogurt and fruit parfait.

My favorite thing...just being in WDW with my DH. We loved trying Soarin' (although we did it in CA 2 yrs ago). We loved trying a lot of new restuarants (I haven't gotten to dining reviews yet!)

Any other questions?

What was your experience being pregnant at WDW? Were you able to tolerate the heat and walking? How about rides you could enjoy? Thanks!

I really enjoyed WDW while pregnant; I would do it again in a heartbeat. However, it got hot and humid a few days, so I wouldn't go after mid-May through early/mid-September...esp being far along. I was 26 weeks when we arrived...I don't think I'd go much after 28-30 weeks. I did get tired much more easily than past WDW trips; I did take a 15 minute power nap while my DH hubby rode a ride in MK one of the days!

I didn't feel like I missed out on the rides...I know it's for a good reason. I did walk through the queue for Mission Space, Test Track, RnR, and TOT each once so I didn't feel like I missed them completely--it was nice seeing the preshows--then I took the "chicken exits." The other times I just sat out or took a bathroom break.

Just stay well hydrated, and I recommend making 1-2 PSs per day (or a pool break) to get a break from the heat and some time off your feet. Enjoy!!
