Just got back a couple hours ago. Weather was fantastic until yesterday, when it dropped 25 degrees in about an hour. It wasn't the temp that was bad, but the wind. It was much more crowded than I expected, but still not too bad. It got much better the past couple of days. I'm dissapointed with the upkeep on some things (saw a New Year's Eve hat in the bushes at ToT, a baseball cap that had clearly been by the side of the Splash Mtn boats for a week or so (had definitely been rained on, partially covered in leaves)), but we did see some great CMs. The guy who comes out with the statue lady in Italy was great. He reminded me of the good ol days when CMs were in control. He was firm, but still very kind and helped small children get up there faster and took pictures for people. In ToT, the CMs in the library were great, really stalking around and giving people weird glares (didn't see that in March, May, or August).
Ate at Teppanyaki, Nine Dragons, 50's Prime time, Plaza Restaurant, Rainforest Cafe (at AK), and Wolfgang Puck Express. All were wonderful. Can't say enough good about any of them.
Philharmagic was the only new thing for us, and we really enjoyed it. We did think it needed some more control on going into the theater, it seemed like a mad rush of pushing, shoving people and that was horrible. A great attraction though!
A word of advice: If the CM at Spaceship Earth tries to convince you to sit three people (adults) in one seat, REFUSE!! It was miserable! My parents and I were in one seat, and I'm 21, and my dad weighs nearly 200 lbs...NOT a good thing. It stopped for about 10 minutes while we were on it, and we were completely miserable.
Our hotel was decent, we've stayed there before (Quality Inn Maingate) but they really screwed up our reservations somehow, and our bathroom really needed some work.
Any questions? I'll be happy to answer!!
