Just back from two weeks at the beach club on the Disney dining plan. Used magic bands , alamo and virgin so if anyone has any questions feel free to fire away whilst it's still fresh!
We are still in Orlando and have found FP+ to be great. We were staying offsite this trip and made our FP selection th day of with no problems and no wait whatsoever, even yesterday the 14th which was absolutely crowded out.
We have stayed at the Yacht Club and the location is fantastic. In a few minutes you can walk to the World Showcase entrance which brings you in at the United Kingdom. It is also great for Hollywood Studios as you can take the boat or walk (athough the heat is a factor in the summer months). When we stayed at YC the bus would come to YC before BC so we always got a seat. I loved the Yacht Club and would return. It was great having so many dining options within easy reach.

Fast pass plus worked really well for us but I don't know if being on resort helped. Seemed quite long lines for people doing it on the day. Was dredding FP+ to be honest but found it great and easy to change plans. That said had one technical problem and sometimes changing fast passes in the day was tricky as passes ran out but that's no different to normal
Welcome home. Please tell me fp + was not the horror story it's being portrayed as?! Which parks did you go to? What were standby queues like? Hope you all had a super time.
You ll love the yc. Walk to Epcot was very short(we were at end of bc) boats were great and nice walk to Hollywood studios. The pool is the best resort pool in disney. Also lovely having the boardwalk so close and we went most days for a drink
thanks for the updates-
feeling extremely plus size this morning-so must work hard to become belle rather than the beast-in preparation for our next trip.
We're booked for 10 nights at the Beach Club in November and I keep second guessing our accommodation choice. This will be our second trip and we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge the first time and absolutely loved it. Tell me we will love the Beach Club too.
We stayed at the BC and fell in love with the resort, we love visiting Wilderness Lodge too, but for me the location and pool area win hands down.
We requested a room on the ground floor as close to EPCOT as possible which was rooms 1591-1530. It was approximately a 2-3 minute walk to World Showcase entrance

You will live it! Would love to stay at the Wilderness lodge but with a two year old the location and pool were too good to ignore! 3 minutes to epcot an all the dining choices, mono rail to magic kindgdom and boat to hollywood studios made life so easy. The boardwalk is underappreciated by visitors and such a nice amenity. As mentioned the pool is lovely and like a mini water park.
Previously my favourite hotel was animal kingdom lodge and still prefer the atmosphere there but the location of bc in my opnion is just too good. We were in room 3517 so right near epcot. The only negative of this room was firstly the cleaning standard and secondly it was along walk to reception especially if you have to park which is quite away from reception. One day we were there the hotel was full and didnt seem busy
One useful thing to know is i temprarily lost my magic band and got a new one in a matter of minutes no questions or charges(just not personalisdd)
No real lows to be honest! Actually only negative was photos going missing from magic bands on photopass Great trip, but as always I found trepan Edoand Jiko great places to eat.
