Just back from a wonderful vacation in beautiful Florida! The weather was perfect the whole time we were there and the parks were great. We were excited that The Barnstormer and Dumbo were open early and they were both AWESOME! We are already planning our next trip. :cloud9:

Any questions for me?

Any questions for me?

Sounds great!
Where did you stay and how did you like it?

We always stay off property (except once) because my DH works for the hotel industry and we get deep discounts. So we stayed at a Hampton Inn on Palm Pkwy this time. It was a Disney good neighbor hotel so it still had a Disney feel to it. We really liked it for the price we pay! ;)

We drove from Arkansas. It was long! :lmao:

We spent one day at Cocoa Beach this trip, too. It was really nice and other than the crazy toll fees, we had no complaints about our first ever beach day!

glad that you had a wonderful trip.

Did you notice anything different going on that we don't know about? How was the fast pass system?

Glad you had a wonderful trip! We are going to be there in 2 weeks and staying offsite for the first time. :) We're also going to take our dds to Cocoa Beach for the first time too. How busy were the Parks when you were there?

Your post here, where it is a better fit. Thanks Danny

We were late fast pass users so this was a huge adjustment for us. But we managed just fine. There were signs and CMs telling everyone about the new rules and we only saw a few people get turned away. We never tried to use them late, but we did try for the 5 minute early rule and that was a go! :)

The bakery had a new tarp thingy since we were there in January and it looked much better. It was brighter and more detailed than the solid one that was there before.

What was the best moment? What was the worst?

The best moment was my DS8 getting to do the Jedi training. It was so great! He was super excited and so was I! The worst was getting run over by a stroller while trying to exit the park. I was walking as fast as the person in front of me, which obviously wasn't fast enough for the lady behind me and she ran over my ankles before scooting around me and cut me off. That was about the closest I've come to unleashing some of my own "magic".:lmao:

The parks were great in the mornings. They picked up by lunchtime, and got way better after dark. As always, getting there early is half the battle. Still, everything was manageable with FP and a little strategy.
