Oh my goodness...Nothing like a mil raining on your disney parade. Hmm, the worst mil story I read so far was poor kilee (moderator) and her mil misadventures on their trip. Hope there is some kind of pot of gold at the end of your disney rainbow. Oh well, maybe your dh will reward you with another well deserved trip for your family ONLY. Cant wait to read more!!!

This is SO the beginning of a good book (or a horror novel!). THE NERVE of her! I don't know what I would have done if my MIL invited herself along without our knowledge...I would have gone balistic (sp)!! At least your DH feels the same way you do and isn't letting it affect your trip...GOOD FOR HIM!

We had a similiar experience during our May trip with an uninvited family member. I had to vent like crazy....breath deeply and count to ten HUNDRED!!! Things worked out okay...

I'm so glad I'm not alone! My MIL invited herself for Thanksgiving, then invited other family members. We live over 1000 miles away from her, so that meant they all crashed at our house. My heart goes out to you! I know that sinking feeling in your stomach!!!!
