OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I would also just die if my MIL did this to me. My MIL and I only get along because I visited her last Jan. in Florida and am going this Feb. too. I'm kinda on her good side for now.


Please tell us more details and please don't tell me she stayed with you?

This Take OFF was truly meant for MIL ((TAKE OFF!!))
My hubby was so ticked. His jaw almost hit the floor. Here's MIL standing there with this smug look on her face and I could tell he was ready to loose it. You see for him, he tells it like it is, where i Try to keep peace !!!BUT COME ON THIS WAS OUR VACATION ---NOT CRUELLA'S!!!
First she informs us that one of us can switch seats, so she doesnt have to sit alone. The nerve of her!
Well hubby informs her NO one is moving!!!(Thank goodness)
She starts to huff! (Exactly like the wolf from the 3 little pigs)
Wait a minute that would mean the 3 of us were the 3 little---never mind) back to the saga.

Her seat was at the back of the plane(sorry if any of you were near her)
I sat that hoping the Genie would grant me my first wish and let her flush down the airplane toilet!!
She whined that she wouldnt be good at the back Well then GO BACK HOME is what my hubby told her!
You know you work all year for a vacation and this is the beginning of a nightmare!
She continues to TELL us that we can drive her back to the airport at 2:00 Thursdayand wait with her til her plane takes off.
My hubby told her to forget it that we were not losing a day of our vacation sitting in an airport.(We were not leaving until Saturday 7 pm)
She had a list of her other childrens names and their kids and told me I could go shopping with her and help pick out gifts for all of them.BEcause afterall she wouldnt have to buy us anything because we were here!!
Not that I would want anything from her but how ignorant.
Again before I could say anything Hubby informed her we would not be shopping and that our days were planned well in advance without her.She starts sobbing and people are now looking around at us like we were evil!! (She was probably trying to act like she was Mary Poppins and we were the wicked ones!
They call our seat and off we go while she pouts!
I cant believe all this planning and Cruella is putting such a damper on our trip!!
I will continue this on another page because I'm not sure how long of a post they allow you.
Sorry if it is so long
But I could go on forever.

i'm afraid to sit in the back of the plane and to be by myself would have had me whinning too. i hope your trip got better but if mil was a problem how did she end up coming along?

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. It doesn't seem real that an adult would act that way, but I know only to well how so called "adults" can act. You are lucky that your DH has the true take on the situation. Sorry you had to start your trip that way. I hope it got better from there.......
