Okay, first off...we enjoy eating. I'm one of those people that has ADR's (PS's) made asap. Tend to plan my day around where we are eating that day. I always have at least one TS meal a day, usually dinnertime, and have an early lunch at a counter.
So, my dd (13) and another mom and her 13 y/o dd ate on the ddp. Yes, there was a ton of food. We did use almost all our snacks on either Boardwalk Bakery breakfast stuff or at the Food and Wine booths. I ended up leaving 4 counter meals behind. My dd is a very light eater, so I knew going in, that I wasn't going to be getting my $38 a day of food for her!! And I didn't. We found the ddp to be easy to use, it was easy to track the points...each receipt did have the remaining credits listed.
Would I do it again? Probably not for my entire family. I would stick with my DDE card and take the credits where I could. I just found that we had a hard time using a counter and a ts meal each day. But, I'm glad we tried it..it was easier to 'split' the bill this way...none of that "Oh, you paid for the last meal, let me get this on." type stuff.
