We arrived on Friday 9/24 for a weekend visit to WDW and left on Monday 9/27.

Lunch at Backlot Express at MGM -- Cheeseburgers and fries were very good. I was disappointed that they did away with the topping bar, but the cheeseburgers were still quite good. B+

Dinner at Rose & Crown -- We sat indoor as it was pouring rain outside. I had the pie sample for my entree, which was great. I really liked the chicken & leek pie and the cottage pie. I did not like the pork pie though. DH had the lamb & barley soup, which was heavenly and a cottage pie. Even though the cottage pie is not on the dinner menu, they accomodated DH's request. The service and food were both was great. We always enjoy this restaurant. A

Breakfast at All-Star Music Food Court -- I had a very yummy breakfast pizza. DH really enjoyed his Western Omlete. B+

Lunch at Teppanyaki -- I had always wanted to try this place. We really enjoyed the meal. The chef was very entertaining and the meal was fun. We had the salad. The salad itself was nothing special, but the ginger dressing was excellent.
I had the steak and shrimp and DH had steak and chicken. While it was kind of expensive, it was very tasty meal. A

Dinner at All-Star Music Food Court -- Hurricane Jeanne was approching, and we cancelled our plans to have dinner at 'Ohana. We had cheeseburger and fries. They were good. B

On Sunday we had to stay in our room, as the hurricane hit during the night. We rented a refrigerator and stocked it with pre-made sandwiches from the All-Star food court. They were rather good, and we were so glad that we had them. After about 5pm the food court reopened, and we had turkey dinners there.
The turkey and mashed potatoes were good, but the veggies were out of this world excellent. The food court isn't the most exciting place to dine, but considering the hurricane it wasn't that bad. I'll give the food a B+

Why did you feel teppanyaki's was expensive, too little food?

Just curious as we have plans on eating there in October.

We got enough food to eat. I just felt that the prices were kind of high [e.g. $19.99] for a meal that consists of lots of veggie and rice. On the other hand the experience was great and the food was very good.

soupy11 -- Teppanyaki had a HUGE price increase a year or so ago. At the same time, they started charging extra for the salad. It used to be much less expensive to have lunch there, but that's no longer the case. I consider $19.99 to be an expensive lunch -- that 's dinner prices IMO.
