It was hot and crowded. pirate: But it was not unbearably so. Best thing we did was book a reservation at Crystal Palace for breakfast at 8:10 on Saturday (morning after EMH Evening). They let us in before the park even opened and then, after breakfast, we strolled over to Tomorrow Land just as it opened and walked onto every ride there, including the Go-carts. We thought it was January again, only we were hot. They let us stay up on top and watch the kids ride Astro Orbiter a second time. Once was enough for DW and myself. We did everything we wanted to do at MK and left around 3. The crowds weren't noticeable until aroun noon, and people were still piling in when we left for our mid-day break. pirate:

Stitch Inside......Did you use WDW transportation to CP? We were told that we would have to find our own transportation to CP for an 8:05 a.m. ADR because the park was not open at that time.

I told the CM that we never had to before when we had an ADR before the park opened and she said "things have changed"!

I thought the bus started at 7a.m., am I wrong?

I'll bump back up, I need to know too. We have ar's at CP for 8:15am :Pinkbounc

We took the monorail over from the CR at 7:30, so I'd imagine the buses were running. I think I read on here before that the buses start running at 7:00 am, they just don't advertise it for some reason. pirate:

I need to know, too -- mine is 8:10 on the first day we're there. I'm so looking forward to letting the kids have their very first minutes in Disney relatively crowd-free, and getting some of those magical castle pics :)

When I called Disney Dining to confirm my AR's they told me that there are buses running to the parks starting at 6:45 am for the early breakfast reservations.

you will be fine getting to your PS's before the park opens... (we did this 2 times last month and took the character breakfast busses with no trouble at all!)

you can check the transportation forum for some threads with good info! :)

In May, we were to arrive at MK at 7:15 a.m. for a private event. We were able to take the bus from POP early...We were told 6:45 a.m. pickup and they were there by 6:50 a.m. and got us to MK in plenty of time. Have fun! :wave2:
