Just back: 9 days at HHI

We absolutely love HHI and can't wait to go back next summer (just waiting for that 7-month window to open up!). We loved Savannah, too, and thought Lady and Sons was wonderful, but being from the South (yes, I'm a GRITS!) maybe that's just our "culture". I agree with you about smokers - and I may get flamed for this - but many smokers are very inconsiderate. If you are a smoker, don't stay in a non-smoking building and then smoke on the balcony!! Whether it's allowed or not, it's rude! And cigars DO stink - everyone thinks so! I would have been annoyed by having to smell second-hand smoke, too. It is why I request NON-SMOKING buildings. Can't do anything about the people who smoke outdoors - I guess they have to do it SOMEWHERE - but a little common courtesy would be nice.

Actually, we have a Solara. Love it! We'll be driving it from home if the weather looks decent.
