I could make this a LONG post, but I will get to the jest of what is going on around Disney. This was my first time out of nine attending any shows, and I will say, I was extremely impressed, with most.....
One, it is HOT! Not just hot, but HOT! I'm from the south, but geesh! RECOMMENDATION: Disney is selling these 100 years water bottle holders. Freeze a bottle of water the night before and it will last you almost the whole day.
Animal Kingdom - Legend of the Lion King was awesome and so was Flights of Wonder. If you have not gone to the training session of Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends, don't do it. It is a TOTAL waste of time. But I didn't get a chance to see the show.
MGM - If you have a chance to see Walt Disney, One Man's Dream, do it. Millionaire isn't as popular as it was a year ago, we just walked right on. I was even next for the hotseat at one time. I started screeching when I saw my number up! Only question is, how do you fly to NY to see the show taped when its been cancelled? Major attraction lines were running 40-70 minutes, so break out those fast passes! As always, 50s Prime Time was great. Except don't get a bloody mary....$7.50...OUCH!
MK - Cindy's still wonderful for breakfast. Carousel was not open
. I would think with the big holiday weekend, we would get the treat. Other than that, everything is the same. Night time in the kingdom is great, we just about walked on to every ride.
EPCOT - All I have to say is IMAGINATION! So excited I was there opening day!!! And it was great! Food recommendations - Tangierine Cafe in Morocco had great lamb wraps. Restaurant Akershus, decent but not worth the money. I was the only one in my party who thought it was somewhat bareable.
Other than that, Chef Mickeys was great, Beaches and Cream was WONDERFUL (with the Connections vouchers of course), Pepper Market in Coronada was good.
Oh, and PI. We were there all during Gay Week. All the men were so good looking in the clubs, but I knew not one would be offering to buy a girl like me a drink. Oh well, there's always October!!!
