our 1st trip to disneyland was awesome!! we stayed in a disneyview room @ hojos(thanks to lorelle) and we watched wishes from our balcony on 3 different nights from the 7th floor!! we could hear the whole program!! the walk to and from the parks was nothing! i couldn't believe you just walk into dca and dtd so easy. we're used to the buses @ wdw. on our 1st day @ dl, we were exiting buzz and the dreamteam gave us fastpasses and that saved us from waiting in lines. the same day we were getting off of california screamin(which i love), and a cm let us premiere toystory mania(only the cm could go on that day) and we loved it! i enjoyed seeing the differences in the rides from both disney parks. they all were different. TOT was much different. we don't have a mirror in ours. we loved indiana jones ride. i'm glad we got to ride it cause everything we went back to it, it was down.
we loved the california weather! so nice. it was a little crowded but the longest we had to wait was 30mins for peter pan. we loved the dtd area. ours is bigger but yours was big enough. we had dinner one night at the jazz kitchen express(shrimp poboys were great). we did the bb for lunch and wct for dinner while the parade went by and that was very cool. we had the best vacation!! everyday was an adventure.

Congrats on the magical pixiedust: Disney vacation! Reading your post just go me more excited about our upcoming trip. Thanks for posting!

So glad to hear you had a wonderful time! Wow getting dreamed!! Everything sounds great.

Great trip! I love the overall positivity!

It's fun to contrast the differences between the rides and parks, not really to compare but just to notice the subtle differences. I'm glad you enjoyed it as I do when I spend time at WDW.

I'm glad you had such a great trip! We love the convenience of DL too, the busses, boats and monrails at WDW can really get old. Disneyland is just so easy in that you can get right in to the park and start having fun. And at night, knowing that you will be in your room 20 minutes or less after your final ride or show, well that cannot be beat.

Again, glad you had a great trip, makes me excited for mine!
