DH and I went on our first vacation ever without kids! We’ve been married 28 years, no honeymoon too poor! We had a blast!

A few observations:

We stayed in a 1BR Standard view at BWV, room 1109. Our room was in perfect condition, no problems at all. Location was good for us, a few steps to the door to the quiet pool and a short walk to the door towards the bus stop.

While waiting for the KTTK tour, a CM was giving a tour to a group of men with lanyards talking about technology. The CM told the group that Disney is testing WiFi on the buses.

I really liked the remodel of World of Disney at DS. Spacious, easy to move around, can find the rest of your party much easier!

The profit margins must be amazing on the sale of alcohol. All over DHS they had set up mobile alcohol sales.

Couple of questions:

We did not have any issues at the quiet pool, but are there rules? Is it for adults? teens? Kids with parents? Legitimately, just asking.

In our walk from the lobby to the door to the bus stop, there were up to 6 ECVs parked in the hallway overnight, charging. They were all there in the morning. Is this something new? I had never seen that on any prior trip. When we took my mom, we kept her ECV in the room.

Quiet pools are for anyone who wants to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main pools.

So glad you had a great vacation! From other reports this is a very crowded time.

Happy you had a great time! I'll be at BWV for the first time in June and can't wait!

We will be at BWV in a 1 bedroom BW view for food and wine. It is not coming quick enough!! It is my favorite DVC resort. I love the location.

1) Congrats on your belated honeymoon, sounds like you had a great time!
2) WiFi on busses would be awesome, it would be good for kids wids with pads that aren't on a cell plan. I just wish they'd improve WiFi at the resorts and parks. It's "there" but it can be slow or intermittent, and imagine what it will be like with the crowds for SWGE.
3) Meh. The remodel looks nice, but it seems to be harder for me to find things, I was so used to the old layout. But I'm one of "those people" that hate it when my grocery store moves stuff around, too. ;)
4) Those pop-up alcohol booths are intermittent. Yes, the profit margin is great, but the booths aren't always there.
5) As other have said, "Quiet Pools" are for everyone, I think they use that terminology because it just sounds better than "non-feature pool."
6) As far as ECVs charging in the halls, it is likely that the people needing them were in studios, not larger units. With the limited space in studios, they often charge them outside the units. 6 is a large number, but it may have been a group of "older folks" or folks with mobility issues.
