Just Back 11/10 - 11/14

Just returned late last night from another great vacation!

Weather: PERFECT!! Shorts and t-shirts during the day and a sweatshirt at night.

Crowds: Fri, Sat, Sun - Heavier, but not terrible. 40 min. waits. Mon and Tues - very light - walk on.

Here are some new things for us and just my opinion of them:
1. Nemo Ride: Disappointed - cute, but not very entertaining. No desire to ride it again.

2. Nemo The Musical: Again...disappointed. The idea is cute, but it's not something we would take time to see again. Tarzan Rocks was much more entertaining.

3. Food & Wine Festival: Really enjoyed this! We tend to enjoy basic food, but were surprised to find many things we liked. Spent two nights walking around sampling the food and drinks! We are looking forward to going back during this time next year.

4. Carousel of Progress: After 7 trips, it was finally open. Everyone really liked it and the kids wanted to ride it again.

5. POC: Liked the changes.

6. One Man's Dream (MGM): Decided to check this out for the first time and as we walked through the doors, we were granted Dream Fast Passes from Members of the Dream Squad. I had seen others with them, but never saw anyone getting them. Even though we were the only ones entering the ride, they asked us to step to the side out of the doorway and then granted them to us. Since this was our first time at this attraction, we all thought they were the CMs for the ride and were going to walk us through. We really liked the attraction and ended up spending 45 minutes in there. We only ended up using one of the tabs on the Dream FP b/c the crowds were so light.

We made it to the parks early, used the FP, when needed, headed back to the room for swimming and returned to the parks for dinner and the shows at night.

Although we are all in Disney withdrawal...we're looking forward to our next trip in April.

Wow, sounds like you had a really fun trip! I'm happy Carousel of Progress is open - I love that ride! One more thing...did you go to MVMCP? If so, how was it?

Hi Kurt - We did not do MVMCP this year. We did it two years ago and didn't feel the need to go back. Although we enjoyed it, the crowds were crazy.

We did get to see the Osbourne Lights to music, which was nice.

Thanks for sharing your info. I cannot wait to see Carousel of Progress! Nice weather is predicted for next week, too. Congrats on the Dream FP. I can hardly wait.

did you submit your "Dreams" postcard for each day of your stay? I just got done reading my AP mailing and I'm trying to understand the rules....send the information EACH day of the stay and you may get chosen??? appreciate any help here......

dzneelvr - Getting the Dream FP was totally random. They told us they were waiting for the next person to walk in the door and it was us, so it was just luck. I haven't submitted anything for the YOAMDs.
