Ok so we've been back a few days. Overall, we had a very fun time.

We were at the BCV for 9 nights with a 6 day base ticket. We have a short trip in Jan, and our annual trip next Oct. planned so we decided to pull the trigger on the annual pass this year. We did the upgrade at the IG and so far everything has worked. We also did the TiW and we thought we saved a lot as we do like drinks with dinner.

The BCV- We love the BC and Villas especially the quiet pool and we tend to hangout there in the afternoons. The reno was very pretty however, the room really lost the beachy feel. I could have been in a nice hotel room in Chicago. The shower lost it's ledge so there is very little room to put shave cream, face wash etc. Also, there wasn't anywhere to put your foot for shaving your legs. Not very well thought out. The tub area was another problem with the open back. If you drop something behind the tub say good-bye to it as there is almost no way to get it out. Missed the ceiling fans as well.

We did online check-in and got our text before we got on our plane. We got 2 of 3 requests. Mousekeeping was good. When we asked for extra towels and coffee we got them everyday and did not have to request each day. We stayed on cash so we had service every day. The new floors are very hard to keep clean and with them being so dark they show every crumb on the kitchen floor and every toenail clipping from the previous guest. They really need to wetjet everyday on these floors. We also had a very young child's sock left between the night stand and bed. I found it the day after we checked in and left it to see if the mousekeeper would put it in a more visible place for us thinking it might be ours but it just stayed there all week.

We thought Club Villian was just ok. The food was pretty average and wasn't really hot. When we arrived the Champagne and water had already been handed out and there wasn't going to be anymore passed. There were three of us and we were seated with a single and she was very nice but it was just really awkward. I felt bad when we got up to get a drink or food, I felt like I should ask her if she wanted anything but then I'm not the hostess- it really did bother us. The character interaction was superior to anything you get in the parks or at a meal. Absolutely loved that part. I wished there was more of a show.

We went to MNSSHP on Oct. 25. It was not sold out and you could see a big difference from previous years. You could actually move around and had breathing room during Hallowishes. The candy selection was much better as well. We were disappointed that the party magic bands were sold out. I don't think that is right. We were told that at first parties you could buy an unlimited amount of them. We have them from every year up until now. We just thought oh well one less thing to spend money on next year.

Food and Wine is a great event. It is very busy and this year I think it was huge at times. I did like that there were more tables out!!!! We went on two week days and two weekend days and while busier on the weekends we didn't see the stumbling drunks that so many other disers see and we never really have seen that many loaded people.

Lastly, the parks. We really enjoy each park for different reasons. DHS needs help badly! I know it's coming but I fear it's just so far away. I will not go to this park anymore until there is something else to do. AK needs more as well. We did EMH, did the safari and pangani trail and then basically had to wait for the shows to start so we would keep criss crossing the park. Ak needs more rides still a half day park. Epcot needs some love in future world or change the name. Nothing is really futuristic anymore. I love living with the land but that movie/slide show needs help. Just hated that you couldn't see your future in your time traveler. Also, couldn't the festival center go into the Odessey building and lets get a ride of any kind in the wonders of life pavilion. It's just so odd to have the festival stuff there when everything else is in WS. MK, I just love it here. I love these rides so much! I don't know if it was the day or what but the CMs here seemed really frazzled. They really were yelling a people to fill in space and some just had a nasty edge. We joked that as soon as we got on a ride it would stop and it seriously did. There was a time on Sunday morning that SDMT didn't open so we couldn't ride or use our FP+. Then PoTC and Splash went down and the walkways got ridiculously crowded So many people wandering around with nothing to do.. Also, BTM was down for it's refurb. and then, because it was a party day there was nothing left for FP+ after your first three. Our second day at the MK was much better. The EMH time was 7am. We went and rode SDMT, PP and SW then kept our BOG ressie. Rode SDMT and every other ride except Tomorrowland rides by noon. So just a great way to end a Disney vacation.

Best meals- 50's PT, Morimoto, Shula's, Blaze Pizza, Narcoosee's (food excellent-server bad), HDD, Kona cafe

average meals- BOG (B,L,D), crew's cup lounge, capts. grille, SoA,

All in all, we had a great 10 days of family time and that's what's most important to us. Now off plan for January...

Thanks for sharing our trip back report, I enjoyed reading it. What time did you arrive to Club Villian in relation to the start time of the party?
