for weeks after it re-opened, people had nothing good to say about the food. I almost cancelled my ADR. However, the food was awesome. Even my brother in law with no kids said he would come back. There was plenty of normal stuff and it tasted awesome!!!

It's been eons since we've had dinner there, but we had breakfast there just a few years ago and we thought it was the best breakfast buffet on property.

We ate there back in October 2006 and we wanted to visit again this May - think I'll go ahead and try to make ADR's!

We're going in April and very excited for our character breakfast at 1900 Fare. We plan to spend the rest of the day at MK, but who can tell us best way to spend our time efficiently going to 1900 Fare for 8:30 a.m. breakfast and spending rest of day at MK? Leave car in MK parking lot and take monorail to and from? Does it run that early? How long might it take?

DW and I ate there in Oct 07 shortly after it reopened. It was great you had to look on both side of of serving areas. The server was just GREAT keep drinks full plates picked up.We will keep going back each time. The step sisters and mother where a hoot. The one step sister told us how they threw those little rats out before the board of health closed the place down. Then told me if plan A " meaning DW " did not work out she was plan B then winked at me Being the 2 big kids we are play along with characters. We love 1900 PF.

golando- I'd just go to TTC and them take the resort monorail to GF. You could drive if you are running late and then move your car, but I'd try to do it the other way if you have time.

I too was worried after making my ADR's about 2 weeks ago since we decided this trip we wanted to eat at places we hadn't before. So I was beginning to get discouraged about going and spending all that money on dinner if people kept saying it was not good.

Now I can't wait to go in April!

I'd take the resort boat from MK it goes straigtht to GF - or the monorail resort line - it depends on time and weather -

No shrimp at this buffet. The prime rib was great with the au jus on the side. Mashed pots. awesome. Strawberry soup, suprisingly to me and DD9, was great. She said it tasted sort of like melted jello. Brother in law loved the pasta bolognese (sp?) it the italian section. Also, chicken marsala was great. Kids had mac and cheese, pizza, pasta, lots of fresh fruit. Dessert was the only let down. pretty boring unless you like gingerbread. Both regular salad and cesar salad very good. Just talked with my sis today and she is still talking about the dill salmon. Characters were awesome. very attentive and the waiters new our kids by name. When we were going to get food he said to wait that the stepmother was coming over. Good thing or we could have missed her.
