all the car parks at florida mall were full?
yikes!! that mall must have been bursting at the seams with people!!!

We went to the florida mall friday just before 11am just about got a car space was very busy inside the mall but we just got what we needed and got out haha as we left at 1pm it was getting very very busy never seen it so bad Both outlets had crazy Queue's just to get into the car parks glad we skipped those

Yep Very true we went out yesterday and got much better deals and some stores gave out extra discounts cards over the weekend so we got some great deals

when i'm in detroit for black friday, i go out just to be part of the 'event'...
not so much for the actual purchasing...as you noted, the discounts continue..
but i enjoy being part of the craziness - a kind of communal spirit that you rarely find in detroit...

Dw was in Macy's at mall of millennia yesterday. Bought loads of clothes that were really heavily discounted. She presented her additional 10% discount for international visitors and the assistant gave her a friends and family discount pass of 25% that is valid all week.
Guess where she is going today!!!!

It's a must. Formal dining but relaxed. T shirts and shorts etc. Best steak ever. $160 inc tip for 2. Cocktails, starters steaks and 2 sides.

Trainers coming out at $41(Adidas gazelles

Fantastic price for a pair of Gazelles - always end up disappointed when I go over there looking for trainers, though I did pick up a pair of Timberland boat shoes that saved me a fortune compared to prices over here.

Think I'm going to make it a priority to get some bargains next August!

You want to go in with children, we had my disabled son with us and they treated us in there like dirt.

The server we had had the most superior manner I have ever encountered. I seem to remember reading others saying this also on these boards.

I vividly remember the server throwing my plate down and not saying a word to me. The drink I ordered never came also. We were mystified as to what we had done...

Now days I would have fetched the manager and asked questions, then I didn't want to make a scene.

Gosh sounds horrendous. Can only speak as I find and both the waiter and food were superb. Can't understand why u did not complain. I would have.
Anyway here is another find.
A pub called Tilted kilt. On I drive. Another American / Irish sports bar. Great staff, they wear short kilts and tight blouse , hooters style but better. Happy hour 11 -7 weekends. €2 beer and well drinks. Weekday 3-7 and 10 till close. Nothing to do with Disney I know but hopefully useful to someone.

Good question..

When you have a disabled child or adult with you, you have enough people staring at you, so I used to just try and blend in and not cause a fuss.

Since I managed to get my son treatment abroad, I have become extremely hardline regarding the rights of disabled people and of their carers.

Gosh yes. In no was I intending to criticise at all. And I am fully aware of the difficulties u must have but do not want to go into detail about my circumstances We r all different and all deal with things differently. Quite frankly I am surprised that such a quality restaurant would treat u in such away and I would expect all people to be more tolerant with persons who have different abilities.
Got to say again though my experience was fantastic.
I wish u well on future visits.

All done now, last day. Sitting by the pool in jeans and t shirt. 80 deg.
Weather has been superb. Off for steak soon then got to have car back by 4pm.
I forgot to mention got the car from car hire 3000 using Budget rent car. Booked the smallest cheapest car possible. Economy. At the rental desk we went through the usual upgrade and upsell nonsense, declined everything. Then the saleswoman said that they do not have economy cars at mco and in future we should book the bigger car.so she had to give us a larger car for free.
I have had the same with dollar before, so as a rule just book economy car. Decline the paid upgrades and u will more than likely get a larger car for free.
Mine was a ford focus which was very nice.

The free wifi around the idrive area is outstanding. Every bar I have Been in has it. It is also available throughout mall of millennia and in all the Macy's stores.
Here at Rosen pointe Orlando it is very fast around the pool. Bit slow in the rooms though.
Not sure how it is at the Disney resorts but can't fault it here.
Hope this is useful to someone. Might start a thread where we could identify hotspots and rate the speeds.
