Just arrived I drive

Hi everyone, been away for a while. Got here yesterday. Vs75 from Manchester. Great flight. Staying at Rosen inn pointe Orlando. It is a great improvement on when it was quality inn.
Went to tony romas for first night meal. Very disappointed. Felt rushed by waitress. Food on but not special. Was in bed asleep by 9. Awake at 2am!!!!!!!
Weather is warm but cloudy.
Thanksgiving tomorrow. Going to millers ale house for lunch.
I would highly recommend this place. Typical American sports bar cheap as chips.
Just by the pool now. I4 noisy though

Had a nice meal at olive garden last night. Sat at the bar with a magnum of the house red. Shared mussels with dw as appetiser. Unlimited salad bowl and bread sticks.
Main was a five cheese pasta al forno for me and shrimp pasta for dw.
Could not eat all of it so boxed it up for lunch today. Still got half bottle of red left.
Thanksgiving today and weather is perfect. Low to mid 70s. Sunny all day but breezy.
Going for a jog with dw at 7am. Then breakfast.

Very mild at home today, mid 50's not too bad. Still rather be there.

Dw has talked about it but i won't be joining her. Went to Florida mall yesterday. It was quiet. Tonight and tomorrow will be mental I think. My plan is to go for a walk to city walk, then thanksgiving dinner at millers ale house. Then a few beers by the pool.

it is nothing like anything you've ever seen.....really really....

but you have to be there at opening, whenever that is....be it midnight or 4 am...or whatever...

but it's a hoot.....

Well been here nearly a week now and weather has been great.
Apparently a cold spell coming this week with temps in high 60s in day and down to low 40s at night.
Shopping has been good. Black Friday was busy. All car parks full at Florida mall.
Good deals at apple store 10% off I pads. I bought one for DD for xmas( hope she does not read this). Worked out just over £300 so a bit cheaper than uk.
Spent a lot of time in Millers ale house which was packed all weekend due to college and nfl football. Food has been ok in there but had to send a couple of meals back as food was cold.
Gonna walk to golden coral now off sand lake for breakfast. Never been but heard it is good. Don't know why but had McDonald's breakfast yesterday and it was awful. Don't know why I bothered.
Great bargains to be had at Adidas shop at premium outlets. Trainers coming out at $41(Adidas gazelles)so dw bought 4 pairs for me and DS.
Taking them back today though, wrong size.
Been jogging every morning. Nice route round idrive sand lake and point orlando. First day off today so dw making me walk.

I think idrive is great but I don't do Disney anymore. I suppose it's all about personal choice.
I like the location and flexibility the area offers.
