Just arrived at Kidani and.....

We head home to AKV in 25 days. Can't wait!! We love that place. Thanks so much for the trip report. I love living vicariously through your adventures. It makes me feel just a little closer to home. I'm so excited! Keep up the information. We love it!

Enjoy! We just got back from 4 nts at Jambo and 2 nts at Kidani on Saturday and it was awesome. Loved Sanaa. Missing coffee on the balcony watching the animals already... :)

Right now sitting in the room hoping it stops raining so we can get to our reservation at bistro de Paris. There's no good way to get there during a thunderstorm.

Yesterday we spent the day at new smyrna beach enjoying the waves, that was very nice. Also ate some fish at oceans fish market and it was so awesome. All of ate like kings for 40 dollars.

Today we spent the day at EPCOT. I think everyone knows the secret about getting to the parks early because we got there at 8:30 and the lines were long waiting to get in.

Wish us luck on not getting wet. Keeping an eye in Irene, but I feel like it will head east.

We got lucky, as we drove from akl to EPCOT it stopped raining. Doesn't look like it ever rained here. Just waiting for our table.

Sounds like you are having a great time! We haven't done a long WDW trip in a while -- I miss the 10-12 day events.

Say dry & stay cool ( yah, right)

Hope you're enjoying!!! It's a BEAUTIFUL place! Our "home" too.

I was talking with an AKL manager in line this weekend at the D23 expo in Anaheim, and he said they have started serving a continental breakfast in Sanaa---have you seen anything about that there?

I can confirm that sanaa is serving breakfast. I will try to find of the menu for you.

Still having a great time after 7 days. Our bistro de Paris dinner was a huge success. Our daughters had never had a fancy meal like that and they loved it. Our server was great and was a hit with my 14 year old because he looked like your stereotypical French male model. We racked up a $238 bill.

Today we went to AK . Got caught in a tstorm so we sat through two festival of the lion king shows, but that is ok because it's so good. I like it better than nemo.

Also went to la noube tonight. Such a great show, the kids loved it.

Lastly, I went to dhs by myself to ride the new star tours over and over from 9-10. I have now seen every character and planet on the ride. For my very last ride I was given a star speeder 1000 to myself.

DW and I agree about your eval of Lion King and Nemo. Loved Lion King...kids too! Nemo was decent but nowhere near as entertaining as the Lion King...

Love the new Star Tours! Got hooked on it last week. DW is not a Star Wars fan but I may have just converted her after getting her and DD5 on that ride! IMHO-best ride in the parks. Of course, i am a biased Star Wars Geek!

The breakfast at sanaa is just a continental type breakfast with fresh fruit, cereal, and baked goods. You can use dining credits.

Spent most of the day at blizzard beach. I'm not a water park person, but the kids had fun. It was busy, but not so busy you couldn't find chairs. Lots of people there from england.

Ate at giordanos on the irlo Branson hwy using a food.com coupon. Not bad since our total bill was $20. The food was ok.

Spent the evening in France at EPCOT. Had a grand marnier slush, watched impressions de France. And then took in illuminations. Nice night.

Only one more day til we leave. It has gone by so quick. Wish we could stay longer.

Reading your TR makes me excited! We are heading to Kidani for the first time in just a few days.....!!! Enjoy the rest of your stay!

Totally enjoying your trip report!! So how many star tour experiences are there?

So, there are the following
Two characters in first scene
Three planets in second scene
Three characters in third scene
Three planets in fourth scene (one bonus if you get a certain planet)

I don't want to tell you more, you'll just have to ride it. It's now my favorite ride at WDW.

We love the new Star Tours. And we really lucked out. We were down there in May the week leading up to Star Wars weekend. We decided to hit DHS on Friday night (planning to avoid the chaos of Star Wars Weekend starting the next day). As we walked past the darkened Star Tours sign, we saw some management cast members standing there. We asked what was up and they said they were doing a soft open and asked if we wanted to ride. "Heck yeah!" We got to ride it three times in a row with no wait. It was AWESOME!!! Now THAT's some pixie dust!

Thanks for the TR Lugnut. Really enjoyed reading it.
