I'm waiting too... I thought that they had a special on Good Morning America today. Anybody see it? I guess if they announced something on there, we would have already heard something by now.

I'm already saving money for my AKL add-on.

Since I'm not planning to add on points at either the Contemporary or AKL, I'm content to sit and wait for an announcement.

Note, I would be interested in staying at both places, but it's not essential that I add on points at either place. Ditto for a DVC at Disneyland. We plan our trips to Disneyland Resort with only about six months notice. I would add on to stay at DLR, but I would add on with a WDW DVC.

I am sooooooo ready for an announcement already!

(Especially if it's a DL DVC. Even my DH, who's been a little reluctant about buying into DVC, says that he would ABSOLUTELY BUY a DL DVC. He told me that just two nights ago! I think I've finally converted him! )

I still plan on renting some DVC points though so we (me, DH, DS 7 & DS 3) can try out a DVC resort, take a tour of the properties, and make our first trip to WDW! We're just so excited to experience WDW for the first time - I can't even tell ya how much.

We were sitting in the SSR office at this time yesterday. Our fill in guide (our regular guide is in DL) said there are lots of rumors from AKL, Eagle Pines and CR. He said that until SSR is closer to selling out, nothing will be announced. We tried, but didn't get anywhere with him. Really nice guy, very straight forward, no wink wink or anything.

This may have been mentioned here while we were gone, but I missed it. As add on members, we were able to match our current use year, AND receive all of our 2006 points. That surprised me, I was thinking we wouldn't get those points.

Now, and I will post this elsewhere. I need your help. We are 99% sure we are adding on at SSR. Currently we own at BWV. What do you love/hate about SSR? We adore BWV and SSR seems a bit quiet. Please see my other post to leave comments.

We are renting points in November. We are crossing our fingers that something new comes out. I would love to buy while we are there I know I would enjoy staying at SSR but think that I will wait for the new resort to be offered
