We had an interesting cruise last week - went to the DVC member meeting and had fun there. Decided the incentives were too good to pass up and added on while on the cruise
Found out our guide got promoted, so our new guide was the one we bought from on the ship. That was nice to finally meet our guide and we liked him a lot.
I feel like now we have the right number of points...right after we bought was when the points changed and we felt like we were short for the amount of time we wanted to stay. Heading to the member site now to see those extra points there.

. Let me dig up the incentive sheet, but I would definately wait to add on while onboard. They kept stressing to us that the best incentives to either buy or add on have always historically been while cruising. What I recall is there were 6 things (because they had us write them in on the sheet they gave us) - no closing costs, banked points (we got 2009 points as well as the points that will come to us in 2010), pro-rated maintenance fees, there was a cruise for 4 if you added on 100 points, discounted pricing (especially for OKW)......I don't remember what else. It was really easy to do and I did check, the points are already there. It definately is addonitis!
