Just added on BCV, question about point availability

We just added on 100 points at the BCV. We have a December use year with our other two contracts so of course we still have a December use year. My surprise, however, is that we don't get the 100 points until December this year. I was thinking when we originally bought at the BWV in May of 2000 that we got part of that years points. My DH thinks I am wrong. Can someone shed light on this for me, please?

In this case, since the BCV isn't even open yet, the presale program can only offer your points when your use year begins. They began with points in February, when sales began.

You also won't have any 2002 dues on those points until you get the points in Dec.

Since BCV is not opening until July 2002, there are no 2001 points available. The first use year for points is February 2002. From what I understand, you will not have to pay dues until December 2002. Boardwalk opened in 1996, so when you bought in May 2000, they had December 1999 points available.

Thanks to both of you for your replies. We have a new guide and he saidwe would only have to pay dues for half a year. I will call back on Monday and make sure this statement was in error, and that the dues don't start until December.
