Just a warning! Make sure you leave nothing behind.

good thing i'm staying at one of the other hotels this year........

how is your daughter now?
is she feeling better?

I think your daughter may have picked it up from loribell's posts.:rotfl2:

My little one is doing well. It's been one week since our infestation began, and we haven't seen anything new, so we're keeping our fingers crossed!

I never thought of calling the health dept., but I guess it's too late now, anyway.

I did get a survey from Lowe's the day after we returned, and I was very honest about my disappointment. I got an e-mail from the manager later that struck me as a form letter telling me that he was sorry I was unhappy with my stay and that the concerning issues would be discussed with the appropriate staff. Somehow, that wasn't very comforting either.

I guess I just expected that the hotel would want to know that there could be a problem in one of their rooms. Meanwhile, I'm on my 999th load of laundry for the week. Like I said, we haven't seen anything else, but I'm washing all the bedding and towels daily in hot water just for good measure - spraying down the mattresses, etc.

Wish us luck!

I don't get it either? Calgarygary, are you saying that the poor child caught lice from loribell's post? That's sort of rude, isn't it?

I think calgarygary is talking about the bug that's crawling around on Lori's siggie. I think he was just being humorous. (I have that bug too!)

Oh, that makes sense, I guess ... if you look at signatures. I block them, so I had no idea what he was talking about. Thanks for the explanation.

Oh I get it now! Sorry I was very slow today!

Sorry been away and yes that was my sad attempt at humour and it was referencing the sig. bug.

even though i'm a blonde red head, i caught the joke.

it was a hoot.

you call them lice, i refer to them as crabs on the siggie...:rolleyes1

HRH service s**ks. We have stayed there many times and I am very glad I have not had to deal with a missing article or lost item. Front lobby people have this stupid attitude like they are "way too cool" for you or they could care less. :cool2:

Its ridiculous, give me a break- I mean you're working at a hotel not a club door!

I will say I like the pool center and Beach Club people SOOOOOOO much better than the lobby people. My family and I stay at the HRH for the pool, the convenience to the parks and the front of the line perk and that's it. The less I have to deal with the lobby morons the better.

I don't feel the warm and fuzzies when I pull up to the valet or check-in at the front desk. There is no hospitality at this hotel.

Hoping no one notices the smaller font? :rotfl:

I'm sorry about your husbands shirts. We left stuff behind @ Disney last summer and I was so upset.

In Aug 07 we did a split stay at Disney's Coronado Springs then over to Universal's Royal Pacific. Our last day at Disney, we checked all of our carry-ons and luggage at Coronado's luggage services and headed out to Animal Kingdom for the afternoon. Upon returning, we grabbed our luggage and headed over to Royal Pacific. As we were checking in, my daughter's bf realized that her portable dvd player was missing. It hadn't even been an hour since we left Disney, so I called immediately. Of course they said they couldn't find it anywhere. DD bf started to cry. I called the manager and gave person's name who checked all our bags and he said he would check with him in the morning. I also told the manager that my daughter left her cell phone charger plugged in the wall in our room (our mistake) and if they found the dvd player, could they also check on the charger. I didn't have much hope, but sure enough within 24 hours, Disney found everything and sent a courier over to Royal Pacific to personally deliver our belongings. Now that's service!
