A woman on the radio was talking about this and so I thought I would pass it along.

She said that when people leave chargers in hotel rooms (phone, ipod, lap tops, etc) most hotels don't throw them a way they keep them for people to use for free. So if you are staying at a hotel and you forget your charger try asking the front desk. She said some hotels have so many that they let people keep the chargers. She even said she stayed at a hotel once and there was a box full of different chargers with a sign that said take one.

I have never tried this but thought I would pass the tip along. You never know. :goodvibes

Great idea...it would help if they would have a tiny screwdriver to open those little battery compartments of items that need batteries...AStar Sports had a eye glass tool and that worked fine, but, now, I carry one with me:)

This is true! I worked at the Hyatt Regency and we had a whole drawer full of left behind chargers, and we let the people keep them to get rid of them! You'd be surprised at the things hotels can accommodate you with, other than shampoon & soap - we had combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lint brushes, razors, shaving cream, hair spray... any toiletry you can think of!

Great idea!! I hope we never forget our chargers at home, but in case we do, I'll be sure to check at the front desk!!

A few trips ago, I left the charges at WDW. I called from ME and they mailed them back to me free of charge. They were at home two days later.

I label ours - with just the last name. Once I got my dd's phone charger in the mail from a hotel (not disney) and I didn't even know she lost it :) She was using her sisters.......

Thanks for that great tip, I will be sure to remember that one. I don't think I would have ever thought to call the front desk!

Great tip, thank you. I never thought of asking the hotel, once we forgot it at home, we went out and bought one. I know hospitals do the same thing.
