Although the first time I saw "The Big Ragoo" was on a Happy Days episode where Joanie was almost (gasp!) kissed by a boy!!!

You are right. I was thinking of the Brady Bunch and then thought that would be too easy. 7 it was.

Here's my recipe for Lemon Bars

1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter (cold)
2 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
3 tablespoons lemon juice (from the FRUIT not the bottle)
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Stir together 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar; cut in butter til mixture clings together. Pat into ungreased 8x8x2 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes

In mixer bowl beat eggs; add granulated sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Beat til slightly thick and smooth, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir together 2 tablespoons flour and baking powder; add to egg mixture. Blend just until moistened. Pour over baked layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool. Sift powdered sugar over top. Makes approximately 20 bars.

Well, since this is a trip report of Hawaii, I will post my cookie recipe with Macademia nuts (they are delicious if I do say so myself)...

DEATH BY WHITE CHOCOLATE

1 pkg Baker's semi-sweet chocolate (8 squares)
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter/margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 pkg white chocolate chips
2 cups Macademia nuts (although I use only 1 cup)

Preheat oven to 350. Microwave semi-sweet chocolate in a large bowl on high for 2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in sugar, butter, eggs, & vanilla with a wooden spoon until well blended. Stir in flour & baking powder. Stir in white chocolate & nuts. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 7 to 10 minutes until cookies are puffed and feel set to the touch. Cool 2 to 3 minutes and removed from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire racks.

Can't wait to try some of the other recipes. Can't believe I've missed so much in a week. Going back to catch up...

Okay, so I've got one more show to talk about from the 70's, early 80's. And by the way, Dana, I'm embarassed to say that I never watched the Waltons. Shame on me, I know.

For the most part, all of my favorite shows as a kid were mainly guy shows, that's what you get when you don't have siblings yet, and all you have are male cousins close to your age. But I did really, really like one more girl friendly show....."Little House on the Prarie"! I loved Pa and Ma and half pint! Michael Landon was just terrific in every show he was on, I went on to watch "Highway to Heaven" as well. Little House was special, there was always a moral message with every show. And I'll share this as well.....if I have time and it's on TV, I still watch it.

Sorry Laura, don't know how I missed your comment on the tale of the tail. No, I don't use spellchecker... who has time? But I do occasionally check a spelling... like for Albaturkey.

Ponzi, you are right about one thing, it's hard to tell when to add chapters for the reasons you gave, some folks get bored waiting, while others don't have regular computer time each day and have a hard time keeping up.
