Just a Rumor So Don't Shoot the Messenger~ A MSEP 2012 Return?

Rumors are circulating that the Mainstreet Electrical Parade might return to Disneyland (not DCA) this summer!!!! Rumors are also circulating that Spectromagic will return to WDW. I hope this happens. I think it would also help take some of the pressure off of DCA with World of Color and Carsland at night.

AGAIN...this is just a rumor I've seen on another website.

I'd like to see this but ever since its departure the ELP has been rumored to return. I haven't seen any evidence that anything is moving anywhere, just rumor after rumor.

To see it going down Main St. again would be wonderful. I have many happy memories of seeing it in Disneyland, and I'd love my kids to be able to see it going down Main St., as they have only seen it in DCA. Here's hoping!

I would be beyond thrilled!!! I would being crying tears of joy! I miss it so much! I even watch it on youtube every once in awhile to get my MSEP fix. Even it is not as good as in person, but I have to take what I can get!

It makes a lot of sense for them to bring it back now to DL. DCA is going to be insane this summer with Carsland and then people sticking around for WoC. They need to do whatever they can to try and drag some people back over to DL and MSEP would do just that (and maybe even a new firework show?).

I think it makes sense for them to bring it back to Disneyland, also. (where it belongs. )

I remember when they would have a daytime parade and the electrical parade in the evenings. I hope that they return to that.

That would be awesome. When I took my girls to Disneyland in 2010 I hadn't been there since I was a teenager. I hadn't been in a position to o since then, and hadn't kept up on Disney news. I found out shortly before our trip that the Electrical Parade had moved to WDW and was really saddened. It was something that I had really wanted to share with the girls as it was always my favorite part of our trips when I was little. I decided to take them to WDW when I got back from Afghanistan, which we did in February, and was excited to see it then. I found out shortly before that trip that it was down for refurbishment. I seriously almost came unglued at that point, but then they scheduled it for the very last night of our vacation. It was just as wonderful as I remembered, and seeing it with my daughters was incredibly special. I really hope they bring it back to California, it's an experience that I will never get tired of.

I would be ecstatically happy if the MSEP returned to DL! My memory is pretty bad and the MSEP is one of the fondest memories of DL that I have from my few trips as a kid. If it does return I hope that it will stay. I probably won't be going back to DLR for a few more years, and I would love to be able to see it when I return. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

We will be there in June 6 to 15. That would be awesome if the parade was back. I have been to Disneyland 15 years ago but have never seen this parade. My boys would love it.

It will be returning to Disneyland. The only question is 2012 or 2013. A return this year can take the crowd strain off Cars Land, which is why the rumors have gained steam lately.

It will not return to California Adventure. It would be near impossible to properly schedule it running alongside World Of Color, especially with regards to crowd control.
