to all of my fellow DVCer's who were kind enough to share their stories and options for families of 5 at DVC, both here on the board and via private message. Sadly, the thread had to be locked.

Also, a big thank you for all the congratulations! The new baby on the way was a total surprise to us...so it has helped me get over my initial panic to know that life goes on after the third child! LOL. Time to enjoy my pregnancy....looks like I'm going to become even more experienced with visiting WDW pregnant!

So glad you gave me the opportunity to say CONGRATULATIONS on your new addition!!! Your thread was locked by the time I got around to it last night. I really loved the thread, and for a mom of two considering three, it gives me hope. The world is set up for families of 4 in regards to vacations. It does seem a bit daunting to think about travelling with 3 kids when I am finding travelling with two tough already (the boys behave perfectly while on vacation, it's just room sizes on cruise ships and in Europe that I've been having trouble with). I guess it'll just mean slightly more expensive accomodations, using a "family" suite/room on cruises, booking a 2nd hotel room in Europe, and a 2 BR at DVC...
I'll have to think about this #3 baby for a while before I plunge into it, or maybe it'll catch me by surprise someday like it did to you! Again, congrats!

Lesley, just wanted to say congratulations on the new baby!

All the best to you and your family as you look forward to the new baby! :D

Lesley, CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting for you!! A new home and now a new baby! We've done WDW for all these years with 3 kids. You'll be fine.

Congrats on your new baby. We've done all but one DVC vacation with 5 of us. My mother-in-law loves Old Key West and I've been after her for 7 years to buy some DVC points so that she can take us on vacation. Prayers for a healthy pregnancy.

Leslie,

Congratulations to you on your new addition! Since we've also got 3 kids, I appreciated reading all of the advice from other people, so I'm glad you started it. Lurontravel had it dead on - the world is definitely set up for families of 4, but we're learning to manage with 5 quite nicely. As DH always says, with three you have to change from "man-to-man" coverage to "zone" coverage, but it's a breeze once you get the hang of it.

When's the baby due?
