We will be staying at the RP in aug. I'm so excited!!! I just booked everything today. The last time I was at Universal was before there was an I O A!!! We are really looking forward to it. My DH and 2 sons are really excited about being able to ride hulk........ over and over and over....... they were hooked when I told them about hotl priv. 42 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone could tell me what the rooms are like at the rp, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Well, when I went with my parents we got a Standard Room with 2 Queen beds...so this is what the room was like for us:

The rooms are somewhat small (similar to Disney's All-Star Music's standard rooms, however) but are VERY beautiful. There is a LARGE bathroom with a full bath with a shower head as well. And I do mean the bathroom is roomy compared to some of the cramped bathrooms I've had at other hotels (sad thing is, the bathroom is bigger than mine at home!).

The comforters are very pretty (Disney's All-Star Music's roomy are so gawdy and tacky...a complete eye-sore). and the pillows are sooooo comfortable. There is a desk with a chair or two and a large/wide dresser where the TV sits upon. There is a closet with lots of room to store your things in.

VERY nice, I must admit. I think you can see it online at Universal Studios' website. It looks like that, only my room didn't have the great view of the park (remember, I had a standard room)!!

The rest of the hotel is very nice as well. Hard to describe. I liked the pool area.

You'll be pleased.

Thank You!! We have stayed at Disney's All Star Movies, and we loved the hotel, it was perfect for our little one (3). My other sons were visiting thier dad, so they weren't with us. I think the rp will be great!! If they offer the upgrade to club level, do you think it is worth it??? Anyone with any opinions please share!!

I really have to disagree about the room size! Disney's All Star rooms are smaller then RP's.
RP has two queen beds, a large dresser, table & chairs, night stand. Large bathroom with outside vanity and sink. Also a large closet with sliding mirrored doors. Beautiful warm colors and nice lighting (all with dimmers).
AS's have two full size beds, a couple of make shift lockers for your stuff & a tiny bathroom. When we stayed at the AS's we were tripping over each other, no room for any of our stuff either. while RP's rooms are the smallest of Universal's three they aren't as small as AS's or even the moderates. Probably about the size of WL or AKL's rooms. I know there is a size comparison chart somewhere out there.

BTW, the rooms are 335 SF at RP.

Yeah...that's what I meant to say.

Thanks, I'm sure it will be fine............. but you are right, the AS were tiny, it was me, hubby, and baby (2) and it was tight. Now there will be all 5 of us............. I think if we get a roll away, there will be no problems............ we're not going to be in the room that much!:Pinkbounc

Hi, Would like to share some info. i have re. standard room size...

RPR 335 sq. ft.
HRH 365 sq. ft.
PBH 435 sq. ft.

AKL 344 sq. ft
CB 315 sq. ft.

So, RPR is bigger than Disney moderate Caribbean Beach and a little smaller than deluxe AKL-
