some other posters may have a different thought on what i posted.
generally, it is an accepted tip for $1 a bag that you are helped with.

pedicab people work for the tips.
some users of them feel generous at times while others keep it at a set $1 per person getting the ride.

I seen people doing that this past july and my youngest DS wanted to ride one and since there were 3 of us and poor guy had to stop for another pedicab and people not moving out of the way I gave him $15.00 but that was the only time we used them
