Just a Giant Thank You

No request here, just a giant thank you to all of the talented DISigners who share their talent and time so freely with all of us! I am in awe of all the talent and creativity and way you guys handle so many requests in such a timely manner. I have tried to read all the rules, stickies, Meet the..., and as many threads as possible. I know that these DISigns are created with the intent for the receiver to self print and use for personal use only. But is there really no way to compensate the DISigner, other than kudos and maybe a photo with credit? It feels "wrong"... Also, if I find a personal DISign I like (not blank) in an open bucket with a common name, is it okay to use, or do I need to ask the DISigner first? Speaking of names-I love seeing all the requests and creative names out there =)

Thank you for the kind words! We don't accept any compensation b/c we really love to pass the pixie dust on. I, and lots of other designers, support Give the Kids the World. It is a wonderful program for families that aren't as fortunate as we are. Speaking for myself, if you are on my photo bucket and you find your name, go right ahead and use it! The only no-no is to take one of my designs and tweaking it, without my permission.

Thanks Mandy! I actually have a current request on your Pressed Penny request- it's on Page 87, #1730 . Wish these were around when I was growing up. I remember carrying rolls of pennies in ziplocs. Thank you for sharing your talent!

omg! How does anyone restrain from asking for one of everything that we see? Addicting is right. I am trying to keep my requests respectful and to a minimum. My brain however, is saying "I want everything!!!" The DISigners here are amazing. I'm also checking out Give the Kids the World to see what I may be able to do to help. Thank you

yes I echo the thanks, the designers are absolutely amazing!! I have had an amazing experience and have some wonderful designs created on here. They are all wonderful!
