Just a few ???'s from a traveling newbie

I drive truck nationwide and was wondering if anyone has ever used the scrapbooking programs you buy for your computer then print out the sheets? I would of course add embellishments afterwards to jazz up the pages. It is just so hard to lug all of my scrapbooking stuff out on the road, I am looking for an alternative. Also, forgive my ignorance, but what is a circle journal exactly? Just wondering.....If any one could post pages that they've done on their computers that would be great so I could see the quality. Thanks!
