Ok here I go....

my family wants to go next august and stay 10 days. we want to do a split stay. 5days at po and 5 days at the poly. so here's my ?. i know that all the rates are not out for 2007, but want to make sure i get the rooms. do i call and reserve the rooms and then wait to see what comes out for packages? what if they offer free dining? can i add that later? and what's in the package? just rooms/tickets? i'm so confused. i want to do whats the best for us. do i loose our rooms if we add to it later after the pkgs come out? and do i have to re-book at that time?

What you should do is book your rooms only. Then once the codes/packages come out they can just add to it.
We are booked for Dec/Jan at WL (room only) and are paitently awaiting some codes to come out!! That way you know you have the room at the hotel you want!

If you are concerned about not getting a room, then you should book a room only reservation now. It can be changed later for a package when they come out.
As for what is in a package, it depends on what you want. A basic package would be the room and tickets. Everyone in the room would need to have the same kind of ticket and for the same number of days. Then you could add on the dining plan if you want , paying for it, or getting it for free if offered. Once you have your reservation, and have paid the deposit, you will not lose the room. If a package comes out that you are intereseted in, you would need to call and have the reservation changed.
The payment terms for packages and room only reservations are different, so it is possible that you would have to increase the deposit you made if you change to a package, but you would not lose the room.
