Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

I guess it might just take some getting used to before I begin to like it.
Or I will just tune out the audio when riding it.
Focus on the views...the views...take pictures...take your iPod and listen to the old audio while riding....yes...yes...

Brilliant! Geeeenius, I say!

I will never stop laughing about the time my brother and I went on the TTA and he randomly yelled some guys name and a guy looked up.

I love the TTA, especially at night time.

I will memorize the old audio and start saying it to myself on the ride.

TRON is cool enough to get a new movie :teeth: I remember watching the movie on Disney Cinemagic a few months ago. Sure, it was the first ever movie to use computer graphics, but still...

When Universal Studios Singapore had it's sneak preview, none of the rides were open...

I've never been to Universal, but i'm not a big fan of huge roller coasters.
I like WDW because they themed the parks so well that the rides fit into the theming very much so.
Compared to my local amusement park that is.

Like that a lot about Disney too (sorry if I'm intruding on the thread!!) - I also like that Disney isn't all about the thrills and chills and crazy drops and inversions ... BUT about the experience of the ride!

I know.
I was kinda worried about mentioning how I like that Disney doesn't have that out of place twisted metal huge roller coaster vibe. I think many people would like to see Disney do that, but I think it would be out of place if all you saw was a huge roller coaster.

I wouldn't mind if Disney built a theme park with thrill rides... But it wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing if they just built roller coasters in the existing parks. Not without a theme anyway.

I still vote for Indiana Jones in WDW... if Dinosaur wasn't around, I'd say put it in the AK, too, because Adventureland doesn't quite fit it.

I agree with you, just to get rid of Dinosaur :p

If I had the power, I would destroy all of Dinoland, and turn it into Australia...

I thought Dinosaur was a total bore... but I like the Institute side of DinoLand.. the "real" side.

I think Chester and Hester was a cop-out, I don't care that there's a backstory to it- it still LOOKS horrible.

It's like what they're doing with Paradise Pier... slapping Disney characters on things does not a theme make.

I do like Primeval Whirl as a ride though... I would keep the ride when destroying Dinoland to build Australia, but I can't think of a theme...

I would definitely get rid of it.. Off the shelf ride with minimal theme...

It is, however, better than Mulholland Madness.

I've heard some people say that they want Disney to use the Marvel characters to build roller coasters in DHS.
