I think the designs of the dolls are cute, but the song is too much for me to handle.

They need to update the storyline for Kilomanjaro Safari. That, or just cut the storyline altogether... Hey, what were the special effects that used to be in the ride, and now aren't? I remember reading that the poacher's truck used to move through the trees as you drove by, like you were chasing it.

Really that would have been fun!

I heard that the cast member use to be the one who would capture the poachers, and not Wilson. Also I think there use to be more of a story with Little Red. I noticed that they cut some things out when I last was on the Safaris. Which when they added the extra row onto the vehicle, they also changed the story line

* A reserve Ranger (live Cast Member) was at one time stationed near the end, having captured the poachers. Apparently the fact that the Ranger was toting a gun was considered too intense.
* Speaking of intense, the original concept included a scene of the mother elephant (Big Red) after the poachers had got to her. This never made it beyond the soft openings of the attraction. Jim Hill tells a story of the director-and-above level discussions at Disney about what to do; sadly, he never once uses the 'elephant in the room' joke

I think WDW's is the only one without characters now... so I like that.. Hate hate hate that they put an America room in the DL... I mean that was the only one Walt ever worked on and they had to screw it up.

I heard about how at the end of the version that they first previewed to the cast members, at the end was a dead elephant, but they thought that it was too 'dark' for families and children.

Thought there was a dead elephant, but wasn't too sure... I'd like them to take out Little Red, since it doesn't look all that convincing...

If you sign up to this forum, and check out the members section, you'll find pictures of Hogwarts Castle, actually on the building site. A couple of pictures suggest that you might walk through the courtyard of the castle, as the set is all the way around, and has flooring, sort of. I wouldn't think so though, especially how the towers have been put onto the ceiling of the show building.

I'm still annoyed that Disney changed the colour of the Space Mountain sign... It just doesn't look right being yellow instead of orange. Or maybe it's green... It's one of the two.

What's your favorite place in the parks at night?

I personally LOVE MGM (refusing to call it Hollywood Studios) at night. The lights...the Tower of Terror area...and, of course, Fantasmic!.
