I'm an avid Court TV fan and am studying to be a court reporter, so I would love to serve on a jury, but it's never happened yet. I've been called twice, the first time I was told the night before that I would not be needed, and the second time I was actually selected, but the defendent's lawyer used one of his peremptive strikes to have me removed from the jury.

I had put down on my questionnaire that I had two children, so I'm sure that's why her lawyer didn't want me on the case. Smart move on his part!
