It’s Time To Get Wild.

Step into Jurassic Park and stand in awe and wonder at a land transformed by science after 65 million years. But don’t be deceived by the island’s beauty because danger lurks behind every corner. Only here can you live the adventure of coming face to face with giant creatures of the Earth’s past, encounter raptors roaming every day, or take a daring raft expedition through jungles teeming with dinosaurs. For those brave enough to visit the raptor paddock, you may be able to carefully approach one of these deadly predators. Then feel the rush of the hunt as you race through the jungle alongside raptors on the Jurassic World VelociCoaster, a new species of roller coaster opening June 10.

We booked yesterday for June 15 with annual passes (going back for HHN)! Are we assuming this will be like Hagrids with virtual queue or 5 hour waits? I also hope they give Express Pass access to Hagrids when this opens since it won't be the headliner for most.

Well shoot! We leave June 5th.
On the positive, I guess we can avoid the hours long crowds that will descend upon the area though.

Maybe we will get lucky with an impromptu guest preview...

You have excellent dates. Close enough that you might be there for a soft opening.

Lori, will keep my fingers crossed for you for soft openings......it`s very likely you could get very lucky......

And then you can tell us all about it ::yes::

Our first ever visit begins on June 13--I'm worried about how this will affect crowds overall. We are staying on property, so hopefully with early entry we will be ok.

I would definitely take advantage of early entry to Islands of Adventure (well, both parks really, but IOA will likely be more crowded than usual for early June). And I would plan IOA on a weekday and hope for the best.

Screamscape was hoping for soft openings the end of April. I guess not.

Yes, decent chance we may get on it! And I would surely give a POV recap if we get that lucky.

Will be an excellent trip either way!

We leave June 7th. Not sure I am brave enough to ride but my daughter will. Going back in October so I guess I'd better be working on building up some courage.

I think I'm the only one who is happy that we leave on the 5th. We were there for Hagrid in 2019 (pure coincidence) and as we did then, we would have avoided that park like the plague. I assure you that there will be one less person in line for a soft opening of the coaster while down there the week of the 31-5th! You all can have my spot, I'll be enjoying the grape cotton candy and riding CITA which is completely my speed.

Happy/not happy as we will be there the 16-20th of June. We want to ride it but don’t want the insane crowds that it will bring. At least we are staying at RPR with express passes

We are there for the 8th-12th, so right in the middle of our trip. We haven't been during a big opening before (waited for Forbidden Journey the first year it was open--maybe 2 hrs.). How early before EPA do people start lining up to enter? This ride terrifies me--I love the dark ride coasters, but my daughter has no fear, so if she wants to wait in line it would be great to know how early to get there so we don't have a 7 hr. wait.
