junior ticket prices

I was asking my AAA agent about the junior ticket prices[ages 10-17]and she said that there arn't junior prices and that my 10 year old would be adult price. I looked on the disney web site and they have a junior prices. i'm wondering if AAA is not offering a junoir price because of the AAA discount. Does anyone know about it?

junior tickets and adult tickets are the same price, jr tickets dont really exsist, they are more of a way to keep track of whos in a room. if you are staying on property after the 2nd adult you pay more for your room, so you classify your childrens tickets as jr instead of asult.

Disney hasn't offered a junior tickets for years. Ten and up has paid adult prices since sometime in the 1980's I believe.

This is correct. A child ages 10-17 pays the adult price for tickets, buffets, character meals, etc. However, there is no extra charge for them to stay in a room, while the third and fourth (and fifth if space allows) adults are charged an extra fee. The term junior distinguishes dependent children who pay the adult price for meals and tickets from actual adults staying in a room.

There are "junior" PACKAGE prices, but not ticket prices. The junior package price reflects the fact that kids who are 10-17 don't pay to be in the hotel room with parents, but do pay more than their younger siblings for their tickets. That's why there are three price tiers (Adult, junior and child) for packages instead of two (adult, child) as there are for tickets.
