Are the Junior Suites at the CSR worth it? I am taking 4 teenagers (yes, that is correct and yes, I am crazy) to DW in May. We could get 2 rooms at a discount rate of $94 each, but we all wanted to stay together and not have to worry about not getting connecting rooms. I think the suites hold at least 6 people right? The junior suites go for about $238/night and I would hope it would be worth the extra $$$. Also, has anyone gotten a discount on suites at any of the hotels? I am a Fla resident, AAA and AP holder so I hopefully could get some discount.....thanks for your replies.:D

Check out Steve H's site for site Suite info

The casitas have a small number of suites that cater to the convention crowd but are available to all guests. There are
30 Parlor Suites (one is accessible for guests with disabilities), 10 VIP Suites and 5 Executive Suites.

Check out Steve H's Suite info site for very detailed information on all suites offered at CSR.

Check out Our Laughing Place for great suite photo's.

$50.00 more is worth it

We have 2 rooms reserved at CS in the Casitas area. I thought about getting one suite instead. With four kids, we decided we needed two bathrooms so we're sticking with the 2 connecting rooms. With connecting, it will almost be like one 2 bedroom suite except Mom and Dad will get a little privacy - ;)

See, I was thinking the same thing. A suite is nice but connecting rooms will you a little privacy. 2 bathrooms and being able to close the door to dress and have a little privacy appeals to me. With a rate of $94/night I think we might have a little more space for less money for the 2 rooms. Oh, I really hate making decisions don't you? Plus, I haven't even checked out the suite rates except the rack ones....Anyone ever get a deal or discount on suites at Disney hotels?

The one down side is that they won't guarantee adjoining/connecting rooms. So it a chance you take.

You might want to look into age restrictions. I read that at least one person in the group must be 18 or older in order to check in. I do not know how this would work with two separate rooms. I am not sure if this rule applies to each room or just the one person making the reservations. If the rule does not apply to each individual room, it might improve your chances of getting a connecting room if you note on your reservation that connecting rooms are necessary because all of the other people in your party are minors. Just a thought. But again, I do not know the details of this rule. Just something to consider.

that I have "GUARANTEED CONNECTING ROOMS FOR FAMILIES." So, when the kids outnumber the parents, I guess they automatically guarantee connecting. Disney put it in writing so, I would bet the trip that we would get connecting rooms.

I don't know if they would guarantee the connecting rooms if the kiddos were 18 or older though. I would assume they would be considered adults.

CRO pretty much has told me that I could guarantee connecting rooms with that many kids. Hey, it's to their advantage to have an "adult" watching over them and connecting rooms is the only guarantee they would have. So far I am going with 2 rooms unless they will discount a suite for me. Thank you so much for all the great help I always find here.:D
