Hello! Does anyone know about the junior suites at the Contemporary? I saw that they exist on a room rates list, but can't find more info. Like, how many does it accomodate? Layout? Where located--tower, etc..? Please share if you've stayed in one. Thanks!

They are in the wings...no junior suites in the tower. We were upgraded to one several years ago, but it was just an overnight stay....it was nice, definately bigger than the regular rooms (which are pretty roomy anyways)...ours had a king bed and a sitting area with a sofa bed and table and chairs (seated 4 as I recall)...had 2 TV's although since it was one open area (bedroom did not close off)...I wasn't sure why 2 TV's were needed. Ours had a frig but no microwave (this was 4 years ago so things may be different now)....we were in the north wing 1st floor...way down at the end. I remember thinking the space was nice, but the location pretty remote....personally I would opt for a tower room any day over the jr suite in the wings...I think they are about the same price. Not sure it would be worth the $$ to me, but to each his own.

I have been in two of these. Ours were located in the "elbows" were the wings bend. If I remember correctly they were room numbers 7109 & 7309. It's been a while ago. We were in these rooms right after the wings were renovated. The room as I recall was HUGE... almost twice the size of a "regular" room. It had a king bed, a sofa bed, wet bar with a refrigerator and a table that was slightly larger than the regular tables that are in the other rooms. This room had two features that I found particularly memorable.. the fist one was a large bathroom, that was actually a "walk through" bathroom with two doors.. one at each end of the bathroom giving access from either side of the room. It also had the separate toilet area, that also contained a regular shower separate from the bathtub. The other feature that we really enjoyed was the view. Due to the location of this room... it had two sets of sliding glass doors. These two sets of doors really opened the room up and provided incredible views of the interior portions of the resort.

Thanks for your descriptions...sounds really nice! Unfortunately, sounds like it only sleeps 4...we have 6. I was hoping it would be like the junior at the CSR. It has two adjoining rooms, 1 with 2 doubles, and 1 with a murphy bed. I'd sure rather stay at the CR, but can't afford the 1 bedroom suite.

from one family of 6 to another....

The junior suites at WL and BWI are like the one at CBR. We've stayed at WL and in Oct we'll be in the junior suite at BWI for the first time -- and at BW it's concierge!!

I do so wish there were more options for families of 6.....
